  1. Will Young on ITV. Just realised he looks quite like Jeremy from Peep Show. I can't take any more of this, need to get up and get the remote!
  2. Christ, what's happenned to her tits, they're huge! Just saw her on ITV there. Not complaining mind you.
  3. I have a feeling he may be a little touchy tomorrow morning so you better be on your best behaviour. If at all possible, call the hairy invigilator a racist
  4. You have my sympathy, the girl I know on it is possibily the most annoying person in the history of the world. If you start arguing, please make it personal. After your explanation of the credit system I think the law school probably just look at the amount of credits to be taught in a year and look at what they want to teach then give each subject arbitrary credits so when they are all combined they come to the desired total. I've heard some other unis space the diploma subjects over 3 years, I used to think they were just making the degree easier but, more likely, they are playing by the rules (unlike some ).
  5. Law, to tell you the truth I think the law school just make up their own rules (they are dicks). In all honesty I have no idea how the "credit" system works, I just do what I'm told. Over first and second year some subjects were 10 credits, some 20, some 40. Some taught over one semester, some over two semesters and there wasn't really any difference in difficulty or workload (in fact, the one 40 credit course was by a country mile the easiest). The Law school also ignore the EUSA guidelines regarding not teaching anything the week before exams. We were getting lectured on an examinable topic on the thursday with the exam on a the saturday! In all honesty, you are probably right in the sense that that's what should happen and the Law School are just a bit cunty.
  6. That's not true. In second year we had 11 ordinary courses to get through so we got the required courses for diploma entry out the way before two years of honours. Because there were so many we had a few that we were only taught before Xmas but examined on in April.
  7. " http://' target="_blank">B. adj. fashionable, ‘with it’, esp. in reflecting politically an approved liberal or radical stance. Sometimes mildly derogatory."
  8. As a student struggling with money, I think three would be excessive. Another thing is that I like my bacon the way bacon is supposed to be (not completely overdone like most people seem to like it). If I was over cooking it to the extent that the rashers were all shrivelled and tiny, I'd need need more than two as well.
  9. Packs of bacon that have an odd number of rashers. Obviously it's two rashers per sandwich/roll, very disappointing when you have an odd bit at the end.
  10. Pish, not using percentages just makes things easier for students at mickey mouse unis
  11. In the world's top 20 which means I seriously worry about the students at other Scottish universities.
  12. I'm at Edinburgh, the lawsoc there is also good fun and I'll take part in some of the events but me and my mates wouldn't dream of getting a hoodie, its the gimps who do. In fairness to you, you only wear it at lawsoc events which is almost acceptable (but still not really). Asking a blue or green t shirts is silly, you know exactly what I mean.
  13. I'm a law student so I know what a law society does. Its pretty irrelevant what it does because the point still stands that someone who wears a law society hoodie is very very likely to be a knob. There is a pathetic element to it where people will smugly think how good they are to be a law student at a good university, they will deny it, but I know it is true since all the people who wear lawsoc hoodies about are exactly the type who are like that. Why would anyone wear a lawsoc hoodie when they could wear any other type of hoodie?
  14. Dressing like a c**t just to get a drink in a shit student union isn't really worth it.
  15. Good one. I'd hazard a guess that you haven't had much experience of Edinburgh University
  16. That is one of the worst films I have ever seen! We went to see it at the pictures. It actually started off not to badly, and was pretty stylish (Can't fault the directing that much) but Oh my god, the plot is unbelievably bad. Christ knows what went on at the end.
  17. Fresh in my mind after watching the tennis yesterday but its bugged me for a while. I hate it when doubles players go out of their way to touch each others hands after EVERY point regardless of whether they won or lost the point. It gets me angrier and angrier and has actually ruined doubles tennis for me. A very irrational thing to get on somebody's nerves, I must admit
  18. Miles Davis - Blue In Green, with a fag and a cup of coffee. I feel so cool, shame Im on an internet forum
  19. Will Fyfe - I belong to Glasgow ...Classic!
