I'm pretty sure if you were to go round regulars of all the clubs who left the Juniors for the EoSFL that there would be very few (if any) who felt it hasn't worked out to be the right move and the right time.
I was a sceptic to start with but fully converted now, Junior game was great for us but the EoSL and the EoSFA have been nothing short of brilliant so far. Regular at Mussselburgh then and now and there's a buzz about this league that wan't really there before. I'd reckon our crowds are up but then they were pretty healthy beforehand, games seem to mean a bit more though.
Only thing that needs looking at is when a team leaves the EoSFL for the Lowland and encouunters the SFA, wouldn't think anybody would think the Whitehill/Bonnyrigg fiasco is going to be the last time the SFA move the goalposts on licencing.5 -

Sorry CJ but why you having a pop at Belter. It’s your fellow weirdo of a mussy fan who needs to lay of the medication. Can probably imagine the type. Sad, lonely, jealous old man who is absolutely crackles.. Cuddling a cup, his hard drive needs checking. 4 or 5 of the top teams in our league weren’t even in the cup, great achievement all the same but I think you are barking up the wrong tree pal!
Away ya rattler, I'm not weird enough to accuse anybody of having to worry about the contents of their hard drive when I don't know them. You got the rest wrong as well. Dunbar played in it though but then you'll know that.

Haw, haw, haw, haw,haw.
If I have moments of disquiet I just cuddle the AlexJack cup our manager won us with a squad of players that want to play at The Burgh.

Mentioned what?

Funny that the only ones mentioning names are Belters.

Sorry you have lost me mate. You clearly believe or know something I don’t. Can’t be arsed having a debate/discussion with someone who cant back up what they are saying. Maybe take a leaf from your fellow supporter Casey J, at least he has a good discussion. The is morse code with you!
Maybe because you do appear to have a zip up the back.

We don't tend to have zips up the back outside the Tranent page.

You saying Tranent pouched Calvin from Musselburgh?? I think I would be right in saying we still had a manager when Calvin walked from Mussy, so we pouched a manager that never had a job. You just post a lot of bull mate, get over yourself.
You're the one naming names mate. Get over yourself yourself.

Pouched?
Sorry for not being on call 24 hours a day Halfwit8.1 -
Heh heh. If I was a Tranent fan I'd be careful not to be throwing stones out of the poaching managers glass house.

Naebody needs Celgers to spoil the game any deeper in Scotland,

However Geordie lines his team up we'll be behind him and the rest of them, everybody on the playing and management side seem to care as much as we do.
Mark of a good club. I'm sure Oakley'll be looking for the same.0 -
Great win today for Penicuik, hope y'all get a great draw guys.

And a cup final and a lower budget at the moment than most. Name anybody better? He's still the right man for the job.

From my position behind the goal it did look a bad challenge for the first red but all depends on refs decision.
Second decision was too far away as I just saw our player on the ground.
Musselburgh were actually the better team after the red cards
Ref didn't have best of games missing a stone wall penalty for Swifts just after the opening goal.
Good win for us. Been threatening for a few games to score a lot of goals but not been getting the breaks. Hopefully kick on from now.
AsWouldn't argue wih a word of that mate, better team won it.

The boys reaction after Jackie Myles challege was laughable, Jackie was booked for it but the Jeanfield guy's histrionics were ludicrous, physio was laughing after he'd been on to treat him amidst a fair old bit of rolling around and holding his shin, Jeanfield wanted to dish it but were happy to play the victims when it went the other way, cynical stuff.

Well beat today but Jeanfield were pretty shameless. No point in getting upset about the result because we were well beat but when you're still trying to get players sent off when you've got the game won....
Bad crack.1 -
Any word on the venue yet for the AJ cup final?

Thoroughly enjoyable game though. I see your point that Musselburgh edged it mate.

Good luck in the final, but to say thoroughly deserved it is a little overstated. You were lucky not to be three down, and if you were there wouldn't have been any way back from that.
Edinburgh boys at the game seemed to know they weren't safe bud, all Musselburgh second half.

Good wee game today, Musselburgh man and I reckon we thoroughly deserved it but I'd have been disappointed leaving the game as an Edinburgh United fan. On to the final where I'd imagine Oakley fancy themselves as well, should be a good one,

New clubs in the East of Scotland
in East of Scotland Football League

I'd agree that you'd hope the EoSL are as flexible and as accomodating as possible.
They have been so far, no-one really wants to see a club that's new to the EoSL wth a sound base and a strong squad playing Eyemouth on their first season back for instance. Been a few seasons of teams that deserve better getting absolute horsings and everybody should get a fair and even level to play at.
That said the EoSL administrators should be allowed to announce a cut-off at some point where any new applicants start at the bottom. Fauldhouse say, great club and probably Premier, league or the divsion below minimum if they were part of a settled league? Where should they go?
Difficult situation and one the EoSL administrators have managed well up until now.
