Is this footage available on Youtube? Long is a legend, the first time I went to see the wrestling he was involved in a 3v3 tables match, can't remember who he was with but he got 3D'd through a table by the Dudleys.

I think it's the big stage that's the problem. Whenever he goes behind in a TV tournament he seems to play decent darts but when he has chances to take the match/set at crucial times he seems to bottle it.

I see Denis Ovens won the Players Championship today in Gibraltar. Unsurprising really given his obvious quality.

Classic Ovens really, played pretty well but then made an arse of it on an easy double when he had the chance to go 5-3 up. Llyod played fairly well though.

Decent standard between Lloyd and Ovens just now, looks as though Lloyd might have a bit too much unfortunately.

And Cilic breaks straight back. Looks like it could go the distance from what I've seen.

Cheers. I'd agree with you on the wildcards, although I wouldn't be hugely surprised if they picked Anderson since they seem to be pushing him a bit. Would be totally undeserved however.

A prett good final, Taylor just seemed to find another gear to take it from 3-2 to 5-2 so quickly and that was what decided it in the end. His antics at the end were shocking, but that's what you come to expect from him- completely classless. FAO the guy with the Order of Merit changes- how's the Premier League looking for next year?

I've been watching the whole tournament (PDC) a couple of days behind so haven't read this thread to avoid knowing the scores. Anderson was hugely disappointing, and from what I've seen of him since he made the move across I'll be surprised if he can make any real impact in the near future. He seems to be over-rated due to beating Taylor in that final a few years back, and the PDC seem to be pushing him so I wouldn't be surprised if he gets one of the wildcards for the PL, which he doesn't deserve by any stretch of the imagination. Some of the second round ties were great, Stompe-King in particular was of a superb standard and it just highlights the strength of depth of the PDC. Most of the quality on show in those ties was light years ahead of much of the first round and it strengthens the argument that there should be less games in the tournament. Some of the other matches in the latter stages have been great as well, Whitlock has been great to watch and thoroughly deserves his place in the final, especially given the players he's beaten to get there. His match against Barney was a classic. Taylor has been impressive as well, even though he's had an easier route the manner in which he's destroyed players means he deserves to be there. Hopefully it'll be the final the tournament deserves and Whitlock gives him a good game. I'll predict 7-3 Taylor. Also, probably been mentioned a few pages back, but Painter's punching a bit above his weight with regards his girlfriend

The commentary is woeful- he's got colourful hair, we get it. What are Brown's chances against Wade? Over the short format I think the price being offered (11/1 in some places) is big and I might be able to trade out if Wade starts slowly, but not keen on putting anything on if he's hopeless.
