  1. Here, I guess there weren't many spl season ticket purchasers, and now SFL club season ticket holders, writing to their clubs demanding Rangers be given access to their respective leagues.
  2. Just thinking this morning, if the spl/Doncaster had moved quicker on the double contracts investigations (they've not moved anywhere yet, it seems to me), then Rangers/Sevco might have been deducted points, possibly all points, for season 2011-12, and would have been relegated to the position that Doncaster now appears to crave for them, the second tier. But by attempting to protect his/their position in the spl, the third division or oblivion beckons.
  3. Reading Thistle's statement, it underlines the half baked nature of our football authorities and their workings that the press had chapter and verse about the proposals on Thursday, while a member club states today: "Partick Thistle do not have a complete view of or on the proposals, and consequently, we will believe it entirely sensible to wait until we have full details available, before forming any opinion."
  4. The STV report on developments is nonsense. a) If NewcoRangers aren't in the second tier, then5 clubs will be in administration this time next year, 'STV understands'. So,given 6 clubs have stated they're voting 'no' that leaves the 5 financiallybereft clubs as Motherwell, St Mirren, Kilmarnock, and....only Ross County andCeltic are left. b) The threat of closing down promotion prospectsinto spl2 is in stark contrast to the argument for a pyramid system. Nonsense, like I say.
  5. I've lost track now, been out yet again on the piss today, but with a purpose. Don't know if Walter Smith's speech at Glasgow Concert Hall has been mentioned, he came across 'really well'. And it's Dr Walter now.
  6. Aye, it has been referred to before, but the Scotsman reporter Craig P Stewart has simplified the story somewhat, very much glossing over Rangers' (at that time) motives, and the time scales.
  7. Leggat cannot decide if he wants the GSE to be saved or shafted, all in the same day's blog. "And all because of a vicious, vindictive, bitter, bilious, bigoted vandetta from people who hate Rangers more than they love their own clubs. Scottish football is on the brink of being butchered on a medieval sacrificial alter of dark superstition and hatred.A hatred of Rangers...... AND..... WELL known liar Charles Green has a cheek calling anyone dishonest and greedy."
  8. I read most posts, must have missed some, but, for the sake of it, here's some (imo) pish sent to me tonight via someone claiming to be in the confidence of DUFC Fed reps: never had heard this line. The claim is that the police don't want any form of Rangers/Sevco in Division 3, as they would find it difficult to cope with the attendances/behaviour in these small grounds. My response is, what about when the token cup fixture is thrown to the smaller clubs (last season Arbroath)? The police seem to cope then.
  9. Surely if Sevco 5088 start in the third, most chairmen throughout the SFL, unless they get promotion then relegation, or relegation at an inopportune point, will get the cash windfall they might crave. David Beattie just has to keep patient for a couple of years (if he believes Sevco 5088 will waltz Division 1, three and two previously should be walk overs): then he'll get his precious 'Jags to riches'.
  10. Maybe reading too much into it all, but there's 3 east coast clubs with Hibs likely to be a 'No' also: are east coast folk less inclusive of sectarian bigots? Is it time for those on the east of the country to move into the 21st century and accept religious intolerance?
  11. I'm confused. Is it the PPS bit you added in? It's the last bit........... And if so, why did you put GIRUY into the survey? We need some of RangersTaxCase folk to analyse your statement. PS: Sandy Jardine is a c**t.
  12. "In our hearts, regardless of what happens, we will always be Rangers. Even if our club is reduced to having to play on the streets, then we will follow on from the pavements." I'm the googlebot, only guests see me. Register to remove me.
  13. I can vouch for Chris' authentic character, and also for his ability and personal integrity: give him the gig!
  14. Walter's been too busy with other succulent lamb. Feck the Pork! www.waltersmith.co.uk/
  15. FIFA Fair Play 2012 Hurry, hurry, SFA: you have to have your order for t-shirts caps and banners in by tomorrow at the latest. These Fair Play Days have been running for a number of years. The SFA has, in fact, previously selected games at Ibrox to highlight the concept of 'Fair Play', by having huge banner displays and ceremonies, with the players following the correct player 'handshake' protocols before and after the matches. Wonder who will be awarded the Fair Play Days' ceremonies in the future? We need to know, in the interests of transparency.
  16. This might seem a silly question, but if Chuck Green sells to the Cardigan Squad, will another new name be required (rather than 'The Rangers Football Club')?
  17. The official spl website still has 'Rangers' in the spl> spl link See the league table for next season
