I see our players are clearly fazed by yesterday's disaster by being given Monday off work to enjoy a piss up in Ireland, left last night after the game!
Get grant Murray it f**k! Any half decent manager would be cancelling a Xmas night out and getting them into training and beast img the shit out of them for a week, so they understand this cannot be happening..
8 home games, 2 wins 2 draws 4 defeats 20 goals lost, 10 scored! That's a terrible stat considering its murrays team of players! He has chose this team, has trained them and sets them up every week! These stats are not down to bad luck

We struggled pre season, all be it pre season.. Vs edinburgh city. I do not expect us to dominate or score more than 2 goals tomorrow a very tough game ahead.

We all know what will happen in the coming week. Murray will say he is disappointed but worked hard to get confidence up, and worked on what we done wrong last week. And we are looking good goin in to Alloa game. He will play the same team unless injuries, and set up as 4-5-1 as he doesn't know any other way to play.
We will win by 1 goal and Murray keeps his job.
I would be very surprised if grant Murray is removed from the managers chair this season, the club will say we do not have any funds to hand to a manager pay off.
The only thing that can push Murray out is a heavy defeat from Alloa and or Cowdenbeath, and the fans showing their anger!
Cowdenbeath and Alloa were teams we struggled to beat at home last season if we do not beat them then we haven't learned a thing from last season.

Only 190 tickets sold by Friday 7.30pm..just before qos match.. This says it all considering our average away attendance is 4/500.
Maybe the club should've provided t in the park style poncho's.

Paying money to watch utter shite tactics or lack of them for 10 months is whats brought this on for me.!
Grant murray hasnt got what it takes to be a championship full time manager.
He cannot change a game.
He cannot set a team up to attack
He cannot set a team up to defend or not keep a clean sheet
He has no plan b.
He has no savvy about him to admit he has been in the wrong
He cannot bring himself to slate his players when he knows theyve been rotten.
He cannot make decisons on sidelines without asking someone else first!
Oh but wait, he set a team up to win a cup game at a very poor hibs side.
Oh but wait he won us the ramsdens cup( which kept him in this job)
In 32 games he has won only 10 games that in itself is attrcocious if that was 32 games in 1 season how many of use would be screaming for him to be sacked?
Please someone tell me what he brings to raith rovers football club? Please enlighten me? And i shall accept i am wrong...
I do not expect to beat hearts dundee rangers, butni do expect a team i support to gonout and try, and fight!!! Not roll over!!! And not do the same mistakes i. All 3 games!

Losing to livi falkirk and hibs will seal grant murrays fate. And still give us plenty time to turn things arround and not be relegated.

Really good signing in my opinion, a young energetic exciting winger with bags of pace and skill with both feet.. 100 times better than Anderson then! This should push Anderson into playing a decent game, as I'd imagine that's the position he will play in.

davie mcgurn to go out on loan due to not getting game time with us to progress his recovery from injury. any loan move will have a return to raith clause at any given time.
good move i reckon, as cuthbert for me hasnt really done anything wron gin any games weve played, its mainly his defence thats made the mistakes.

as for the lads who may fill the bench... we have plenty 17/18/19 year old talented players in our squad... if theyve been good enough to offer a contract in the first place and are good enough to get a squad number they are good enough to be given a chance when the time comes!

Oddly enough Mark Stewart is probably one of our better players so far this season, understandably he was dogs**t elsewhere, including at you lads at Dundee, but for me out of the new signings Stewart & Conroy are the only 2 that have pass marks in the opening 5 or 6 games !
Not great we could possibly have another 2 injuries, which now means we could be looking at Stewart/Vaughen up-top with Ellis/Watson as the Cbs this weekend .... More worryingly so, will we even have 5 lads to fill the bench or should one of us be looking to get our boots out !?
this could end up being a blessing in disguise. perry has been woeful. so lets put young bates in with watson, the young lad cannot do any worse than perry, and will probably be easily coached through a game by watson that what perry does.
it may also force murrays hand that nade got injured and it did look a serious enough injury to keep him out for a few weeks so murray may well look at getting a loan striker in as stewart and vaughan isnt the answer up top i dont think, on their day they can both cause problems but scoring wise dont show enough in front of goal. and again, pl;ayin gtwo quick midgets in vaughan and stewart will mean 100% will not get any spare change out of long punts up the park, so football wise we need to be creative.

i dont get how some of my fellow rovers fans can happily sit back and accept that we were beaten 4-0 by the better team!
yes hearts were really good and yes dundee were also good going forward and quite easily couldve scored 8 passed us last night, but these players selected for raith are making terrible decisions during games, and its these decisiosn that are costing us goals,
last night, three out of the 4 attacking dundee players were allowed time on the ball, and freedom arround the box to adjust themselves to shoot on their stronger foot,! why? because theyve beentrained and told to do so, we set up so narrow its un heard of, at one point last night dundee centre half ran 50 yards with the ball un challenged, and dundee had 4 players 2 either side of the pitch almost on the side line and not a raith player near them for 15/20 yards! this happened on more than one occasion!
28 games since January 1st 2014. 16 lost. 8 won. 4 drawn.
anyone want to argue with me and say these are stats more than capable of keeping a manager in his job?

Crazy enuff i went up to dundee thinking we would see a reaction fr saturday!
Yet what i witnessed was utter garbage, no fight, no dig, lacked effort, drive, determination even simlle things like talking to each other!
We were really that bad, 4 mistakes 4 goals.
I really feel for kevin cuthbert, he is a cracking all round goalie yet his rotten defenders dont give him any help what so ever!
Grant murray sets the team up the same way every week! Boring as f**k and even the players dont understand it, lets give the oposition all the time on the ball they need.

The wicked witch that is davie mcgurn put the old spell on his penalty box and goals tonight when he came on, played as casual as you like, mad a save, trusted his post and let one fly passed the gos without a flinch. The confidance in watson changed when mcgurn came on.
Elliot and anderson are still as infuriating ad last season, fox and ellis are far too slow! Callachan has started of miles away from where he finished last season.
Seem to remember getting a hiding from hearts then sheffield utd last pre season too!! We make this a regualar thing im guessing, get the players used to getting humped!
Im a betting man so putting some cash on grant murray the first championship manager casualty!

According to craig barrs twitter he has a knee injury and a couple of other niggly injuries and doesnt know when he will be fully fit!
This will be the same knee injury tjat has re occurred at every club then?

Hill barr and watson and mcgurn all expected to be out untill mid to late august! Well looks like a much tougher start to the season than we expected! Christ!!
Why not offer ross perry a year long contract and then let young bates go out on loan? Makes sense to me! Who in there right mind would want to sign a 1 month contract at this time of the season!

Ryan conroy is On holiday until next week, a certain ex rover has put in a few good words in conroys lugs to sweeten the deal.. id imaghine he will be the next and last signing before the dunf cup game. then the rest will be loans.

Im reasonably happy with our current squad, if we add anderson and two more attack minded players then id be happy to start friendlies with that squad. Id like to think that it wont be it though, another season long loan and possibly a shorter 3 month loan aswell.. That should do us.!

Keeping the away strip I'm sure it was stated at the Question night with Management and board..
Also meaning our home strip needs to be white as navy blue wouldn't give us a strip change if required due to dark colour clash.
Unless they meant they are keeping the current home strip so to make that our away strip, and giving us a new home kit?
