I don't even think it would take until the last day of pre season, players want to stay fit and get involved as quick as possible.
I'd be offering players like darren Barr training for a week or two then put the ball in his court.

Aparantly booth can play left midfield and also centre half.. Good utility player it seems.

According to today's press Murray seems to know what he wants and how quick it will be done, defender left midfielder and a striker, and hopes to have the deals for the 3 done by next week so that his squad is complete for the first day of pre season, he also mentions that he may use the loan system later on to boost his squad.

Word on the street seems to be they will be using the grass pitches and the 3G 7 a side Individual park, and getting use of the fitness suites and pools.

Any of u guys shed any light on how much it has cost Falkirk with regards to the 3G pitch? Or if it was all government funded, I wish rovers would do this, garunteed money maker!

Tade looking for accommodation in Kdy for 3 players looking for trials with us. It might not be but could we have a few french players coming over? Remember the last time that happened
This is correct, I gave tade some contacts for bedsits it's etc. it's a deal that seems to be have been offered and put in place By agathe with some help from tade.

Walker seems to have a case of sour grapes, good riddens if we manage to replace him, shouldn't be to hard.

I have far to many pars mates to sit and gloat like f**k, they know themselfs that this is their punishment,
I just hope they can live to fight another day. wish them all the best for next season, and hope they can still manage big enough crowds to keep the Cash flow decent enough to rebuild.

It's a big move for him, and I can only wish.him the best.
There will always be questions asked about whether or not players are good enough when moving up to the SPL, but his goalscoring record this season certainly justifies his move. I do hope he does well for himself.
Baird and tade both won spl moves on smaller scoring records, so you certainly cannot grudge him the big move, the class in defender from first to spl isn't much differant to be fair, just the pace of the game and I'm sure at united he will certainly get a hell of a lot more chances created for him.

Brian Graham to Dundee United apparently...
Been doin the rounds for few months ever since it was leaked that daly was going to the rangers.
I think partick will be his team of choice though. United look to be signing two or three attacking options.

Hearts in the first division anyone?
Would surely soften the blow of losing the townies? But if the townies do manage a massive win
This weekend, and stay up... Having both hearts and dunf in the league with depleted squads would surely make for a cracking league.

Players tend not to announce they will re sign until, after 21ist may as that's the official date of end of there current contacts.

Scott main from the 19s released, another youth player who just last season was tipped as the next to break through released.

You can sign under 21's can you not arsehole?

The problem with cardle was he is a proper attacking winger, who always wants the ball. Something our players weren't use to, so in his first two games was fairly quiet. Still a class act and well capable of changing a game, would be more than happy for him to re sign.

We don't have money to over spend, just a manager who may take a gamble, and has the Added bonus of playing against some of his potential signing targets.

Good signs so far. There seems to be a slightly more upbeat feel coming from the Murray this season. It used to be the doom and gloom of McGlynn stating how many cuts are being made and a small budget meaning little or no signings. Murray is coming across far more optimistic and using positive language. I especially liked his quote in the Press today that if players don't want to stay then there are plenty others out there looking for a contract.
I totally agree with this, Murray seems to know who and what he wants and has clearly got back up plans that don't just involve waiting until August and raiding hearts for loanees, he is correct their are plenty available decent affordable footballers this summer, so why sit and wait.

The problem the pars have now is trying to persuade players good enough, to sign for a club that cannot confirm a seasons worth of pay packets or any garuntee of a future.

Spence and Thomson are constantly on the Wynd up and have been all season. From what the press said today it seems out with walker and Clark, ( not offered yet) and Malone Anderson hammil( released) all other players have been offered terms, I'd imagine Clarke will be offered pre season training with view to an offer of contract if we cannot get another striker!
Spence cradle Thomson mensing McGurn would be my first signed!

Do the townies not have a signing embargo whilst in administration?

Our main aim is to stay in the first division! I'd imagine as much full time as possible topped up with part time. The plus thing is we openly welcome part time footballers and always have done especially with regards to training etc. and their are definatly some cracking part time footballers goin about, mainly down to the fact football contracts aren't secure enough. People mentioning the possibility of rangers money the season after next should remind themselves that turnbull Hutton openly chose to fight against their downfall and for that reason rangers fans will as promised do a Dundee united on us and stay away so what cash would we expect? A gate return of the same as accies? Cowdenbeath? Probably.

I cant see passed airdrie and cowden bottom two we have 2/ 3 wins and a draw in us in the last few games that should be enough.. Where as dumbarton probably have the same cowden i dont really think have much left in them but would get through a play off.

Turnbull Hutton quite open and honest today at Starks when asked about anymore signings, and the clubs future. "certain players chose contracts from elsewhere, but the club always had other plans, not just a plan A. 2players offered terms yesterday one a centre half.. If both sign we still have room on our budget for one more
Permanent and possibly 2 loans."
"With all the reconstruction talks over and finalised, we feel the club will now move onwards and upwards from here on, grant has done a magnificant job in selling our club to our new players and the players he wanted to keep from last term, hopefully our darker days are now behind us, this is what we've pushed for for" "we now have to grasp this and change our future for the better"
