  1. I couldnt see us surviving 25pt. But then again thats not a prority. As for players thats gonna get binned, Andy Kirk is supposedly on £1700 a week. I would imagine Gallacher, Husband, Barrowman, McMillan (possibly Morris) are the big earners in the sqaud. Have no idea what position Jim Jeffries will be in if he stays, But then again I have it on good authority that Masterton's c**t daughters are the biggest finicial drain on the wage bill.
  2. Are HMRC not a minor creditor here though. Surely the major creditor (Masterton himself) is the only one that could veto administration?
  3. I dont know a single Pars fan who cares about possible administration punishments, still a million times better than oblivion...
  4. I was under the impression Dundee got the 25pts instead of the Livingston demotion treatment due to it being mid season. Its the least of our problems tbh...
  5. I suspect a relocated and renamed Cowdenbeath is far more likely than a Pars newco, its no gonna happen. I admit I don't know the ins and out of these financial things but I doubt securing any of the assets the way Charles Green did with Rangers would be straight forward. Who has the mandate from the fans, theres certainly been enough doubt put in mind about the TPC over recent weeks to not fully back that lot and a true grass routes fans movement wouldn't have the resources to make it work. Add that to a whole lot of other hurdles (stadium, league votes, football debts, getting a new squad together) I cant see how an SFL newco is even possible. And im sure as hell not supporting a 'West Fife'.
  6. This voluntary administration, what are we looking at in terms of short term punishment 10pts, 25pts, relegation to the bottom teir? Im guessing the SFLs priority will be to at least get remaining fixtures complete and avoid the headache of having to rejigg points totals...
  7. Right financial folks. If the Pars die tomorrow leaving 4 games on my season ticket will I be recognised as a creditor?
  8. Mind that night very well, was talking about it this afternoon...
  9. They way the TPC have handled themselves since they walked away make me think they were looking for liquidation as a way of getting hold of the club (or at least its assets). The way they jumped back to life after the SG announcement on Saturday make me think they wern't expecting it and are now backtracking to stay in the game. We have to back anyone looking to save the Pars in its current state and not be distracted by this lot. Newco is not an option for me, nor should it be for any Pars fans while the club remains alive.
  10. This is ridiculous if they were really fans interest based everyone would be pulling resources. Makes me think theres something no right here, are we sure we're not trading one shower for another?
  11. Aye, but only if there is a company to save, we have f**k all...
  12. Anyone who thinks a third party administrator would do a better job than the Steering Group in the short term are kidding themselves, at least we know who these guys are...
  13. Echo this 100%. If an acceptable 'compromise' was on the table and the TPC walked away from it they are just as guilty in the death of DAFC. If they want to set up a community club based in Dunfermline nothing stopping them, priority here is to save the Pars not to create a new club!
  14. This what I mean, too much time and hope has been wasted on TPC. We need to get organised folks while we still can...
  15. Yesterday was enough for me to give up altogether. First we're not dead yet, might be another week, might be another month. I'm treating every remaining game we have left as a bonus. I'm not happy with the statements coming out of both TPC and Supporters Direct. It is becomming clear that they are looking at liquidation as the solution to acheiving their goal of a community club. There is a major difference between resurrecting a dead entity and intentionally letting our club die. Not only is this a massive gamble (how can they garantee this new club would even emerge) but is not right to claim to be DAFC when they clearly wouldn't. I might be wrong but the TPC communication has been shocking. The fans backed this lot as the sole option of saving the club. They admitted themselves a compromise deal was agreed, yet bolted at the last minute. Im starting to wonder if this was all show to get the fans on board for when they try to set up a new club. I agree 100% DAFC should be fan owned and run, a new club would not be DAFC though. The only way I could bring me self to support a newco was if it was born out of a REAL grass roots fans movement, these so called 'former' investors would have to go along with Masterton. Enough energy (and hope) have been wasted on this lot. If they're other ways to save the Pars we need to get behind it, we're not dead yet. Enough talk of this newco pish.
  16. I'm sorry, but I keep reading this same pish from you making out a (possible) future club that currently doesn't exist is getting into the third. If you know something we don't, fancy sharing it? Else change the subject...
  17. Yorkston is right to say they have handled themselves unprofessionally, the stuff that was on there last night was confusing and didn't make sense. As fans we deserve a clear message, for a group who claim to speak for fans they have failed miserably at conveying what has actually went on. John Yorkston's interview on the site tonight was at least easy to follow whether you believe it or not...
  18. The accusation that we could form a club with no players, no ground and no on or off field management in time for the Third division by August is absurd...a team based in Dunfermline claiming to be DAFC will no doubt emerge somewhere (most likely EOS), that would take time. The idea of us being able to take advantage of the Rangers precedent is beyond far fetched...
  19. And how do you propose we achieve this? What are we called? What location do we play at? Who plays for us? And how do we get back in? The fans know we're no coming back...
  20. I'm sick of this shit. Digs at each other from both the club and the TPC. The fans are not getting transparency or clear information from either side. The TPC guy on Radio Scotland made a 'Masterton knows we're good for it' type comment regarding the investors in his group. The TPC twitter account last night was a joke. Who are these guys? They might be current investors, known to those in the know but for normal fans like me I have no idea what's they are about. Say what ever you want about the SG, those 3 guys were at least brave enough to stand in front of us for two hours on Monday night answering questions. I'm not entertaining any other idea of what happens next until the club is officially dead. But if these TPC c***s think they have a mandate to speak for the fans they are mistaken. Intentional liquidation of the club is not an option I will ever accept. For me to get involved in any phoenix club, it would have to be driven by a real grass roots fans movement, uncorrupted by ANY of the current players.
  21. I would also query what gives them the sole mandate to speak behalf of fans. If this liquidation story is true they certainly don't speak for me...
  22. From what I understand, a reasonable deal was agreed. But they are still pushing for more, and are willing to let the club fold. This is based on reading twitter and forum post from folk who were at the meeting the night, communication has been poor, so folk are drawing all sorts of conclusions.
  23. It appears (out of greed) the TPC have slit our throat
  24. Nae idea what these tweets are about. One minute positive the next negative. Why can't these fuckers just tell us in a single plain statement where its at???
