  1. The Prodigy tomorrow night in Dundee.
  2. So it`s just about done & dusted. After Newtonmore`s victory against Inverary, Kingussie know that anything less than a win will hand More the title. Saw that Kyles refused to travel north to Beauly(?) to face Kingussie, & will thus be docked points. However the game still has to be played, any idea if this will go ahead at Tighnabruaich? With all the rain lately, I can`t see any waterlogged pitch suddenly becoming playable.
  3. I live Blairgowrie as well & their are plenty hills in the area to get you started. The Angus glens are good. Loch Brandy circuit, Mayer & Dreish up Glen Clova. A little to the north you`ve got Deeside & good walks up Lochnagar & the higher Cairngorms. Over at Pitlochry you`ve got Ben Vrackie which is a bit easier & also Schiehallion which is a little dull, but has great views & is a straightforward climb. The Rum Cuillin is an absolute classic. Takes a bit of getting to, but well worth the effort. Likewise Ladhar Bheinn on Knoydart. It`s an epic 9 hr day out & back from Inverie, but a true classic if you get the weather.
  4. Invergarry`s not even anywhere near Tighnabruaich, in fact the Kyles players will travel much further than their Kingussie counterparts! I can see why Newtonmore are raging! Does this not somewhat devalue the league?
  5. What is happening in the Premier Shinty league? There still seems to be a good few fixtures to play & the championship is still on the line! Thought it was now a summer sport!
  6. Just back from a good weeks holiday in Wester Ross. Managed up Cul Beag, Beinn Mor Coigach(a super day with great views over the Summer Isles), & Beinn Dearg(Torridon one). Good views, but blustery on the tops!
