I have no prejudice against asexual people and don’t see Incels as a natural subset of aphobia, though I’d imagine some/many Incels would like to hide behind that cloak.

Aphobia is a thing now?  Everyone wants to be a persecuted minority I guess.

I agree.  They should've appointed Imrie (apparently he was very impressive in his interview) and taken it from there.  He would've done better with the squad Dodds left us IMO, and probably wouldn't have signed 5 centre halves in January.  There probably wouldn't have been any need to spunk what is now Ferguson's wages on the playing squad, just a few shrewd attacking player signings would've been enough.  Boyes and Ujdur with Devine as backup, would've be fine for the centre of defence.

Final three were Ferguson, Collins and “a player atone of Scotland’s biggest clubs who wanted a career change”.

I read 'abductor' last week. I note papers are now calling it a groin injury.

I dont think anyone's actually put a recovery time on him to be fair. I'm perhaps wrong to assume he'll be ok. Its just really based on nobody making much fuss about it currently whereas all the talk since the weekend has been of McTominay's knee.

Yeah.  I think they’re synonymous.  Either way though, I’d think Cooper must have one of the back up centre back positions, being left footed.

I thought Tierney was an abductor and likely to still be ok? I wasn't aware of any issue with Robertson?

The big one is the McTominay one which looked worrying at the time but wasn't even mentioned on Match of the Day with nobody discussing it or asking Ten Haag post match. More detail on that in the coming days presumably but he'd be a massive loss to the team if ruled out obviously.

Isn’t abductor injury not modern speak for a groin injury?  Those can linger for absolutely ages.

She said she would have voted against the same sex marriage bill so that doesn’t stack up. She’s a despicable person.

She refuses to frequent probably the best bakery in Inverness because of the owners’ sexual preferences.  Dispicable is putting it mildly.

If Swinney is put in as caretaker to avoid another embarrassing leadership election during the Euros, he'll have my backing. No serious candidate

is going to throw their hat in the ring until the Murrell thing is fully settled and the SNP can start building again.

I’m not quite sure where the SNP stand - is the lunatic fringe still of any note, or did they all take the Alba train?

Of course, if Swinney does get the gig for the duration of the Euros, he’ll probably pull out of the race with a ligament injury.

Seriously though: Surely it isn’t that hard to find someone who isn’t 1. A weirdo creationist 2. An absolute loonball obsessed with gender or 3.Useless

Will Skelton, Posolo Tuilagi and Uini Atonio.

Which rugby players would you like to see tasered?

Will Skelton, Posolo Tuilagi and Uini Atonio.  I want my money’s worth.

Kate Forbes case an interesting one. Clearly her religion means that she holds personal socially conservative views on issues like abortion, gay marriage and the trans debate. There are some people within the SNP and outside of it who consider that should prevent her from ever leading the country, even though she hasn’t actually proposed to implement any socially conservative policies (to my knowledge). I think they’ll end up convincing Swinney to do it until the general election and then hold a proper contest after that.

Kate Forbes believes in conversion therapy.  She’s also aloof, largely unlikable and pretty much unapproachable in her constituency.   But really, her campaign should stop at the end of the first sentence. Irrespective of whether she proposes it or not.

John Swinney is the Derek Adams of the Indy movement.

Thought he was generally a decent player for us in what was not the best era of Scotland teams.

One of the better looking centre halves, certainly.

I quite liked him as well.

Ripley - liking this a lot, seen 5 of the 8 episodes and it has a lot more sinister feel to it than the film, maybe because it's filmed so effectively in black and white giving it a very noir tone. Also have to say that Andrew Scott is playing Ripley brilliantly.

I thought it was excellent.  Savage Henrietta can’t stand it.  Seems to be similar in the reviews.

I thought the stand up shown in the show was meant to suggest he was shite?

There’s honestly nothing likeable about the main guy at all. I think it’s him being honest about being a shit comedian.

“Ladies and Gentlemen, may I introduce to you your new Deputy First Minister - Ash Regan!!”

The lunatics really are taking over the asylum.  I’m not sure why she thinks a heady mixture of right wing populism and conspiracy theories is the way forwards.  Perhaps because grifting seems to pay.

    Just watched this week’s episodes…

      Reveal hidden contents

George and Vera are the stand outs of the competition so far. They’ll go far*

*watch them get chucked out at the next stage

Did have to laugh at the woman cutting her finger a minute into the first round of the first episode.
