  1. Probably because the club build up a bunch of backup announcers and as soon as successful businessman took over all were not even contacted to be advised they were no longer required.
  2. Did they get to play with the first team or some ragtag bunch of jobbers?
  3. Same here, especially with where it is, it might annoy me less if it was at the other end but it's just in the middle of two roof bits that are the same
  4. I'm in the health of my life workwise, was temping hoping to be kept on which I was but doing something else and have been which means I'm on probation by the time that's up unless something drastic happens I'll be 18 months without a sick day . Tbf I've had days where I've simply just not worked or just taken my laptop to bed but that's no the same as an actual sickie. I do think working from home reduces the enthusiasm for just sacking it off a little though.
  5. My Pixel got soaked going to Scotland v Georgia and had the moisture thing. Was fine by the time I got home. Having a wireless charge power bank is what allowed me to get on the bus home
  6. Fulfilling a players contract is only a failing when they don't perform. Only way they could fail in this situation is shitting the bed and taking a £70k offer cause nothing better has come in.
  7. That is true to an extent. Club shouldn't be bullied into losing their star player for sub 100,000 though and no actual upward moves have appeared yet. Not standing in a players way doesn't work if you want to make money as some made up sounding team benefitting from a TV deal will offer a pittance and big wages and the player will expect to make that move.
  8. I'd imagine the (potential) financial rewards of him staying vastly outweigh the offers that have been received and letting him leave for free is the sounder move financially until that number is reached.
  9. I went to the last "no fans permitted" game against us at Ralston. There was an open gate and nobody about, wasn't exactly clandestine activity to get in.
  10. I'd just be playing who needs minutes most in the first friendly, St Mirren are playing tonight so doubt it'll be their first team anyway.
  11. We could all see it two seasons ago and various managers/head coaches and a whole new recruitment setup have completely avoided the area. Hopkin - signed McCalister. Duffy - Nobody. Bullen - new deals all round, signed Blaine 'the broken' Rowe on a 6 month loan deal who did not start a game.
