St Pauli game on Monday referee awarded a penalty, the video assistant referee suggested the referee go take a look at the video and he accepted he got it wrong and overturned it. There was also a big mass confrontation of players at the end, he did the normal ref business of booking the two players first involved, then had it highlighted to him that what started it was worth taking another look at, he did, it was, red card. Used twice in the game other than checking goals and was spot on. It's like that every game I watch if they do have to use it. I should say that it's not perfect because humans use it but it seems to be used like it's in a different universe to the EPL.

VAR is absolutely fine, whatever the f**k the English have done to the technology is absolutely mental and they can blame themselves only for it. I watch Bundesliga 2 and they have VAR, there's absolutely f**k all of this armpit/fingernail stuff the English have obsessed themselves with.

So in their strongest positions what is your team for Saturday.

NGL I've little confidence this is a great or even average squad misfiring due to poor setup/instructions from the bench. I'd be surprised if a new manager will be able to turn things around in such a short space of time with a couple of loan players. I haven't heard anything or that I just don't see a win on Saturday and it's pretty sticky if we don't get it.

The problem is central midfield, we don't have the players in there to stamp their authority on the game and control it. A Ross Docherty type if you will. Creative passing and dribbling from that area is also at an all time low as well but both of these things may simply be because Kerr saw Murdoch as the destructive player in there rather than putting someone beside him who is.

Why is there no one to play friendlies with? Half the championship will be idle. Plus whoever is in a bye week in league 1 or 2 after the split. Eh I know the seasons done boys but can you hang about for a couple weeks to play a friendly with Morton

Can't imagine why anyone should care. Other than them maybe waiting an extra week for the playoff games, it has nothing to do with them. If they are to be sat about for a fortnight that will have an impact on sharpness etc (there's nobody to play friendlies and tick over fitness). Will be a nightmare for whoever finishes there, they'll almost certainly be relegated along with Ayr.
