It was evident very early last season that we were going to be absolutely shit, we were clinging onto hope that unknowns like Pendlebury and Rose were going to be good. We knew the defence were going to be bad. Our entire midfield got wiped out and the club made the decision to bring in a trio who had never played a game of football between them. We had a terrible manager. Who we have fortunately been freed from. Our new manager had a matter of days to get any extra bodies in, how we aren't staring down the barrel of league one after a 3-0 first leg defeat away to Montrose is incredible really. Nothing to be celebrated really, just a very good job done by Scott Brown.

I think the funny bit was us on a bit of form and it becoming a brief possibility and every one of us hoping it didn't happen

Every transfer is a risk, we have had guys like Trouten be brilliant for all around us but playing like he had knees for feet for us, twice.

I believe there was a falling out with Bullen and he then signed a pre contract elsewhere, given a chance by Brown but played shite and since he had the PCA it wasn't worth seeing any more from him. He was one of the poorer goalkeepers in the league this year when he played so it's really no loss to us if he wants to job around at Chipping Norton FC or whatever.

Do agree, but I would also say that he just hasn't fitted in since Brown arrived. Can't be helped. Brown said "a lot" of players

Amartey was only a one year deal so he's either hit an appearance target or we've taken the option to extend.
