  1. Those goals are terrible from Albinson. He was really good in the first half so it's not like he was having an iffy game, don't get it.
  2. Brad Young on Alba saying Bullyball wasn't for him, me either mate.
  3. I'll take the extra point over Queens Park if everyone is giving us it but I don't think it'll stand.
  4. It doesn't need to be the case that the 'wide' two are actually doing anything different to if they were in a 4, there's a few ways to set up to accommodate for that. We don't have the players to play it in this way, inadequate full backs, don't have a midfielder to turn into a Libero and our goalie is grim with the ball, but I absolutely love this set up: https://analyticsfc.co.uk/blog/2023/11/10/st-paulis-year-of-hurzeler-now-also-playing-the-best-football-in-the-2-bundesliga/
  5. I still think centrally as long as it's not gone disjointed as hell his pace (or positioning) is fine. Those playoff games, especially at Somerset was something else though, probably partly head gone given he was essentially the right back and centre back in both games given the empty jerseys beside him in both. You'd have to put Musonda in the middle. It allows him to be the ball player as well which he is mostly ok at being.
  6. Aye Musonda has played left back but it wasn't good, he doesn't necessarily look quick in the middle but you wouldn't note him as slow but he looked really slow out there compared to a winger. Out of the new guys it's Sanders that can play right back, I've not seen it myself but I'd imagine it would be pretty similar to Musonda. McHugh has played right back for an hour in a game, again no idea how he got on. I'd probably prefer going for a back 5 of: Reading-McGinty-Musonda-Sanders-Watret.
  7. Tactically that sounds like a laugh I'm up for, daft **** won't see it coming.
  8. On checking, we continued to sign someone after all of those 'roundup' messages went out: Post 31/01/22 - Alex Kenyon Post 02/09/22 - Josh Mullins & Logan Chalmers Post 01/02/23 - Chris Maguire
  9. We have done this the day after the official deadline closes for a while now - Eamples: I feel like we continued to sign people after these dates
  10. You need to create your own smell, one which dominates the office and overpowers his. If people are holding their nose walking past you want that to be because you made it happen.
  11. I'd hope it is Stanger that Brown is thinking of taking out just now. He's one I thought would do well but the step up seems it's either too soon or too much. There is still something to work with there for a coach as there are some decent bits to his game but defending his own box needs a lot of work still. Edit: as said above you can't win every header in your own box, issue is it's usually him not winning them rather than one of the others.
  12. The FIFA regulations are 7 loans in and 7 out as the limit -as per: https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/12520895/transfer-news-fifa-announces-radical-new-loan-plans-that-will-limit-clubs-to-six-loan-exits-per-season The SPFL regulations are confusingly worded to be honest but I think it's suggesting we can have five domestic loans - so space for two more but they can't play for Dundee United or Patrick Thistle
