From what I gather from him, he only wants to work up here to get a job down south. QP would IMO be looking for someone to be around a while. We can just go to the summer with where we are.
The academy wiki lists 36 academy graduates who have played in the first team since 2006. Unfortunately it is only our first team it tracks so e.g. if we had never signed Muirhead it would be 35. Also the last entry is Paul Smith so it isn't up to date beyond the Mark Kerr COVID season.
Even at that, that 36 is two new names a season on average and it'll be higher yet once updated.
I was in a similar situation with fucked finances and a low score but a family wanting to help sort me owning a flat. I spoke to a mortgage advisor and they said it was unlikely I'd be accepted but let's credit check me against the main 3 firms anyway to see what comes up and we can either make a plan to sort it or somehow it'll surprisingly be fine. Against all odds it was fine so from my experience is it's worth just giving it a go.
Bowyer seems sensible on the face of it. Don't think he'd be such a yes man.
Looked like last year he just took a bit to get used to the division then things were (mostly) ok from there on with the odd shambles in-between.
I'd be up for it, he'd probably tick the box of contract to the summer too which I think is appropriate for the current appointment.
I see on the SRE there was a guy on talk sport strongly calling out the abuse of Lee Bullen, when the guy was asked on the SRE, what the abuse was he said he didn't know as he hadn't seen or heard any himself
Guess we don't know the ins and outs there, clubs have to come to an agreement or it's the £22. Personally I wouldn't value any of our home games over £5 just now but that'll be below the minimum price allowed for the Scottish Cup (if they still have that) and Kelty unlikely to agree.
