  1. Who is the lassie at Somerset for the radio today, enjoying her ways of explaining how shite it is.
  2. I have been facing Sheffield at 10:30 every morning for a moment of reflection every day since. Hope everyone applauds the laying of the gilet in the centre circle.
  3. Well McCall is on the radio lads so you don't need to scour the stand.
  4. He's making absolutely excellent use of his tourettes here IMO.
  5. Danny McKay, guy was absolutely class on loan. Complete donkey when we signed him permenantly of course.
  6. Is he getting the job? About the only guy not on the McBookie list.
  7. Yeah, without going back and watching it to when it was explained in Mathie's 3 days of videoes to try placate folk earlier in the season. Head of recruitment is out looking for players - they've had a meeting and agreed what kind of things they are looking for. Results are fed back (this bit is unclear). 'Recruitment team' are then having a meeting to decide which of the targets they should be pursuing, head coach picking his targets. MD neogitating transfer/contract. Its really uncontroversial stuff but folk want to make out that Mathie is up in some ivory tower signing guys and the coach has to play them. Where it falls down so far is either Bullen was an idiot (correct) and/or Glendinning is an idiot (we will find out before long).
  8. I feel like we need to have a pinned post in this thread that outlines the recruitment process and McGeady's role as this needs cleared up every other week.
  9. The head coach does have the final say on targets, Bullen did and I don't see why that would change. Contracts then obviously need to be negotiated by Mathie.
  10. No. McGeady is in charge of our players who are out on loan. Checking in on them etc.
  11. If brainlets like Hopkin and Bullen can keep Ayr up any rookie can.
  12. The concern I have is normally White comes in and the team goes 'back to basics' for a couple of weeks and it's a refreshing change for the players. I think that everything has been basic for the last two years so may not have the same effect we are used to. Hopefully wrong and they win well tomorrow, we don't want a Bullenesque turning a match we should have the quality to win with a bit of a cushion into a battle.
  13. I looked for 52 year olds who have a better ppg than Bullen and have arrived at Adrian Pennock
  14. Seeing these mad names on the list reminds me of trying to get myself added to the McBookie list to replace Roberts. Although the names were certainly much more depressing until Neil Lennon gave Lachlan a call.
  15. Our problem isn't getting players to step down, it's the majority of our Scottish based targets going to other teams in our league, apparently for very similar terms. It's possible someone would play for Scott Brown but not Lee Bullen for the same money. I'd doubt it has all that much to do with the decision though.
