It's been a great run while it lasted. We've been lucky but this run was always due to end. There's not enough quality in the huge squad to compete against the decent teams with the quality that where sidelined today
Lewis Turner has been the main man this season, his second yellow was an instinctive stretch for the ball.

Anyone know off any good hotels in Buckie?
Banff Springs Hotel is top class. I think that's a short drive to Buckie.

Good win today and an entertaining match. It was a proper derby game. Whitburn where hungry for it and can feel hard done by to lose in penalties. This match needed linesmen. The frustration was in both teams. Lots of yellow cards and 1 red. Maybe 2 as I'm not sure if somebody was red carded in the dressing room.
A crazy game today

Referees who have a history of some weird agenda against us, shouldn't be allowed to referee us. Wouldn't even draw the raffle

Ross Nimmo was outstanding. His pass over the head for one of the second half goals was just sublime. Heath finished it but it was all in the pass that made it a great goal

We're never happy. Won 7-3, and some aren't pleased losing 3 goals lol
But I get the concerns, if we can't score we could drop points

A clinical second half where our quality showed and It could of been more for us. You could see the appetite the Scottish cup has for both sets of players so the first half was not a lot of give between both sides. Good luck to Lochee for their season. Lewis Turner was my man of the match. Now onto Jeanfield this Tuesday. A trickier tie.

£10? yer having a laugh surely?
I'm sure it was over £3 for a pie. I didnt buy one. Couldn't afford to after getting in lol

We struggled last season against lower ranked opponents so if we are able to see off Lochee we'll need to be on our best form. Lochee are very capable of beating us, going by their results.

I'm still not convinced we'll top our league, not without a goalscoring striker. Errol hit form and it looked promising but we've struggled since he's been injured. I'm still happy with us getting a great start though. I'm waiting for the Jeanfield game before I start believing.
Good effort from the players today, I don't think any team can win games with refereeing like that going against you. We only got decisions going our way the last 10 minutes. I'm sure it evens out over the season.

Should of seen this game out comfortably but from unlucky finishing and goal line clearances and saves. Mainly one way traffic. My first time at Luncarty, I hope they have a good season.
Onto the next game against Dundonald

Another signing. Brings the squad to 26. Watch out for changes in the next cup game to give the squad playing time and see us put out of the cup.

Great win today, great goalkeeping made it hard for us. 3 points, move onto Tuesday and focus on the next 3 points

Very good result today. More pleasing is the clean sheet. Not much too complain about. Even the pies where tastier today

This season I think we'll struggle to break into the top 5. I'm not seeing much progress in being better than last season. We're still struggling with injured players and a big squad, all of this is detrimental to winning. Other clubs seem to be ahead of us and field a settled team. But I hope I'm wrong and we exceed my low expectations.
Sauche, Jeanfield, Penicuik, Mussleburgh are my predictions for top 4.

Jordan Orru, Craig Henderson and Josh Blair all released.
Quite surprised by Blair being let go... young lad with a lot of potential to become a very decent goalie.
New keeper signing coming, I bet

Don't know if this petition will help stop tier 5 conference league but here's the link.

Good game, albeit Crossgates seemed to be struggling to get a team out, as you expect for a nothing to play for game, last game of the season.
Player of the season? I would say Andy Gillen. Steady, reliable in every game he's played. Gary Brass 2nd.

How has Jack Sayers got on this season?
Next season will be better season for Jack. Looks committed.

Totally agree! Defence has creaked all season. Run of games with Nimmo and Wright together at the back looked solid, but then injuries kicked in again sharpish! If Nimmo, Wright and Harrison are there next season and can all stay clear if injury... they are a solid base to rotate. But given the way they all look like their bodies may break down, I'll have more comfort if a couple of solid, proven at this level, centre halves were signed.
Centre halves have been our main problem. Harrison left, and looking how much slower he was getting, probably a good decision. Wright has never got match fit, picks up the worst injuries. Nimmo is injured a lot. Brad seems OK, but has been in and out a lot. I'm hoping he has a good next season. But I just hope they sign players who aren't injury prone or coming back from injury. A settled defence is key and who are available most the season.

Out of curiousty, what was the Tynecastle and Hill of Beath game like anyone? Did they just play the game out for a point each or did they try to make a game of it?

Haddington 4 Broxburn 1?
What was that? So disinterested and people paid money to watch them.
Anyway, what a season. A load of signings, a 29 man squad, now downsized, Chris leaving, a new manager coming in, a few thumpings received and a few given out. Staring at relegation when at the start we where looking at top 3. It's been quite a story. Let's not repeat it.
Now i'm concerned we're going to resign the same injured players and blame the injury list next season too. On today's performance, we're needing to work on defence, passing the ball short distance, or maybe just controlling the ball, thinking of the first goal. Lots of work to be done next season

Broxburn safe
Very pleased.
I hope Blackburn stay up as it is a good derby game. They still have a chance. If Tynecastle lose on Saturday and Blackburn beat the Vale then it sets up a great tie between Blackburn vs Tynecastle on the last game of the season. Blackburn need to win that to stay up.

I was worried with a large squad, they where going to be chopping and changing to give game time, but credit to the management, they've kept the same players in the starting 11 when they can. A settled team has been key.
Looking ahead to Deverondale, weather looks very rainy. 5 days of constant rain before hand then it gets heavier on match day. I hope if they do call it off then do so before everyone starts heading up. But then the weather forecast are never right lol
