  1. Bloody hell. Absolutely honking the day. Take the point, move on.
  2. I'm on the same page as you. McCart hasn't quite hit the same level as last season yet but he is still a major component of the defence. I'd greet if Rooney leaves. He brings so much to the team.
  3. See the audio commentary on saints TV for game today - anyone get it to work? I get error message saying not available to season ticket holders???
  4. Griffiths heading to Dundee. Wonder if that was part of the Strachan 3 month loan deal [emoji23]
  5. The difference with these teams is the pass and movement. They make a pass, then instantly are moving into space. It's great to watch, just no when it's against us!! They also seem to have a lot more time on the ball. I think we looked a bit rushed last night, but probably due to LASK pressing more than anything else.
  6. I was in the East, half way line, and didn't see the incident at all, but the ref was straight to the back pocket for red. He literally gave it zero thought. Spoony did give the ref pelters for not giving him a free kick just before and you wonder if this spiralled into the red card incident and Spoony just lost it. Don't know, I haven't seen the highlights. However, on the penalty, I didn't think the ref was going to give it. He seemed to take an age to think over that one!
  7. Totally agree on MOH and May. Rooney down the right would have helped tonight too. Hopefully Gordon isn't far away from being fit. Does adding to our attack make any difference if we consistently play the same style? I would just love us to start creating more opportunities. There aren't many goals in our team (Ali and Muzz dont score. Kane will get a few, MOH zilch and Middleton yet to be seen). I said tonight that we rarely play thru midfield. When we have someone as good as McCann maybe this would help us unlock teams? I don't know..... The next few days are going to be interesting to say the least. I'm nervous and curious at the same time!!!
  8. It's a strange place we are in transfer wise. Win on Thursday - fantastic, nice windfall, but we need to bolster the squad to cope with euro games and don't have much time. Lose on Thursday - May lose some of the squad and not much time to replace. I think we've left it too late to potentially get strong additions in. Maybe not, but I'm nervous. Unless we have some lined up depending on scenario we find ourselves in on Thursday.
  9. Big diagonal all day long to Rooney and nobody picking up 2nd ball. Missing out the midfield altogether, when we should be playing through them. United pressed well today though, something that we didn't do.
  10. It's just more the fact that we've won 3 cups in 7 years, consistently finished top 6 and the recognition is still zero. We are still viewed as a wee team who are over achieving. I don't mind that necessarily, just give us a bit of credit FFS [emoji23]
  11. Needing young blood into the game analysis stuff eh, it's so drab.
  12. I think we did have to re-register squad for conference after dropping out Europa league but it was just a copy and paste job I think [emoji23]
  13. Just saying we aren't a top 6 side and that OF, Utd, Aberdeen, Hearts and Hibs are bigger than us. Don't think a single person on show agreed with him. He was going on about history blah blah old man pish you know [emoji23]
  14. He's registered in the Europa Conference squad for us even though he missed the game tonight. I think he is still eligible for next Thursday?
  15. Maybe a chance for some game time for Gilmour on Sunday? Is Bryson fit?
  16. We were comfortable for most of that game. Middleton brings such a spark and him and O'Halloran were really effective, especially 1st half. They were really direct and didn't seem to have many ideas about how to break us down. Get Spoony back, a big crowd next Thursday and I think we can beat them. They aren't at the same level as Galatasaray. Murray Davidson. Outstanding.
  17. I was watching McCann clap the crowd after the game thinking fuuuuuck he is on the pitch clapping too long, he must be leaving, aw nawwww. I've calmed down a bit this morning [emoji23]. What a player, pure class and undoubtedly will go onto to big things.
  18. That's how I read it so beyond Thursday home games will include away support. Good news.
  19. Shame we couldn't get over the line today. Should be 6pts from 6 in my opinion. May looked like he had no idea what to do with the ball when in space at the edge of the Well box. Middleton looked good. Hopefully Eetu deal is done ASAP and we can see what he can offer.
  20. What a bloody result. The boys were unbelievable, grew into the game and didn't look out of place. I can't believe I've just watched them draw with Galatasaray in Istanbul. McCann - immense. Zander's save near the end as well, brilliant. But every man played their part. Let's hope McDiarmid is full next week and get the place f*cking rocking. We can definitely take this lot. I'm gonna sit and just soak this all in. Can't get over what this team can do.
