The point is though that it is still Ineos who have the final say. Because a deal was accepted last time doesn't mean it will be this time. 

Yes, the Scottish Government should do everything it can to keep the plant open but the reality is that it isn't their decision to make.

He's forgets that the last time Labour ran Scotland they built a grand total of 6 houses in the whole of Scotland in one year and managed a whole 340 in their entire term.

Anas Sarwar has now lodged a motion of no confidence in the Scottish Government.  Douglas Ross' motion is in Yousaf himself so if Yousaf resigns then the motion will be dropped.

Unless he gets the backing of another party then that motion will fall - 25 MSPs needed and Labour only have 22 MSPs.

Labour are just playing games - I notice Rachel Reeves called for a Scottish Election knowing full well it won't happen.

However, given his clear delusion, I suspect he won’t do either of those things and he maybe even genuinely believes he can be FM for two more years and lead the SNP into a May 2026 Parliamentary election. Back in the real world, the chances of that happening are zero. 

He should resign verbally but not formally go until a new FM has been elected by the SNP membership. 

The notion that he could resign and Neil Gray steps in unelected is just nonsense.

Harvey said he'd resign if the party voted against the BHA. So he obviously didn't want to lose his ministerial allowance and was trying to sway his party. he was dumped and now just looks bitter and angry.
