  1. Compared to the absolute horrors getting visited on the SPL every week by VAR, the odd pish call by an official at this level looks like Pierluigi Collina at his finest.
  2. McKenzie's rapid transition into Jack Grealish is certainly welcome. Would be nice if the club could find a way to inject the ghost of Cafu into the fullbacks by next Saturday.
  3. You'd think it was a late penalty the way QP fans are going on about this free kick. If McGeady was still remotely bothered about playing football it'd have been 3-1. Then that free kick wouldn't have mattered.
  4. Such a difference in body language between someone who actually wants to communicate and be asked tough questions vs someone just looking to have the next soundbite teed up.
  5. Quite. However, as stated, the probability of that happening is... low.
  6. Low? There's a difference between letting obviously pish wingers out of their contracts in the summer and letting provably good players at this level out of their contracts in January when they aren't even there. A bit of competition for the centre half positions is necessary. That's what happened last season. After a whopping two and a half days in the job it's difficult to seriously argue that bringing in a centre half before a fullback is a tactical decision as opposed to entirely based on how quickly people could find a fax machine.
  7. Absolutely beside myself with the venom with which Brown said "seaside town". Beats a bunch of mealy-mouthed platitudes any day. If you're not warm enough in your light training top Scott, could the club perhaps interest you in an insulated waistcoat to keep the wind out?
  8. Feel better with Rudden going to Raith (where him scoring in every game he plays against Ayr will probably not be relevant) than if he'd gone to someone further down the table. The club actually announcing zero players injured is almost as much of a miracle as zero players being injured.
  9. You have to admit it would be quite funny if, after two far from convincing late rallies against mediocre opposition, they get absolutely put to the sword again by an opposition that bothers attacking their weak points.
  10. That's a man loving life. Of course Celtic fans would hate a player celebrating a culture other than that of the mid 19th Century.
  11. Whoever's email addresses you can find. There's surely an official contact one, as well as one for season ticket issues. At any rate that beats danger-level posts on social media.
  12. Maybe put it politely to the club instead of sending yet more repeatedly misspelled abuse to people on Twitter?
  13. Gomez Mancini was eventually released and is now playing in the fifth tier. If Hartlepool get relegated he's right back on the radar.
  14. Ah well, it's fortunate that HMRC is unable to spot a bit of blatant fraud but some punters who have extremely well-developed skills of estimating the number of thousands of people are.
  15. There's an electronic ticketing system? There is no advantage to anyone for the club to understate the crowd?
  16. I mean it's not as if this is the core part of his job or anything. The levels on the weekend's stream were so fucked that turning it off is basically a public health requirement. Nobody should be this inept at a job they've had for years.
  17. Two new fullbacks and a midfielder prepared to bite people's faces off is a minimal ask.
  18. A genuine fourth would beat a fake second. Arguably a genuine fifth would be less of a kick in the nuts than a fake second, given the inevitable playoff implosion, but the sharp revenue drop from not even having playoff games makes that harder to swallow. Bullen's would not even have been a genuine fifth, as non-Akinyemi form suggests his natural place is desperately treading water above ninth. Dunfermline are on the same points as Ayr now, lol.
  19. weird reading this and subconsciously translating both of their real names into their P&B names.
  20. After being top of the league for much of the first quarter, and with an absolute cheat-code level striker? It would have been a complete bottle job to have finished outside the playoffs.
