Also, any news yet on the much-anticipated home shirts?

I noticed the other day that Cefn Druids in the Welsh Prem have produced some bespoke Errea shirts for this season and released some images for pre-purchase (the away top being pretty stunning as shirt designs go).

Any chance Cowden could do something similar to this, to build up some interest before the (estimated) release date? Surely Errea have the images for the final design, if not quite the final product yet...

The new home shirt is worth the wait!!!

Greg did OK at Killie, but you are correct, he didn’t look fit. He also didn’t look interested. That is where the manager should have stepped in. He didn’t.

Did OK? Greg was brilliant for Killie - Player Of The Season candidate in the first half of the season.

Anyway, it's been a while since there was a bit of needle between Stenny and Cowdenbeath - who could forget the 2005/06 season? - so it's nice that Harvest Swan has brought both clubs together like this.

Amazing season under Mixu - some of the best football I've ever seen in the lower leagues. It was so tight though, we only won the league on goal difference (a good 20 goals better off though) and Stenny were only 3 points behind.

That Stenny team with Cramb and McGrillan up front were scoring for fun - I think our best win was 6-0 and yours was 7-0 or 7-1.

The whole compensation aspect is largely irrelevant here, yes in the normal course of events where a player who at that ge group has been offered terms and his contract has expired is free to join another club, whereby the the recruiting club will initiate a discussion around any compensation agreement. We have  been through that journey quite frequently most memorably recently Greg Stewart.

Greg was 24 when he left Cowdenbeath for Dundee. We never got any development fee for him but have subsequently had solidarity payments.

29 league starts in two full first-team seasons for a bottom-half side isn't a huge amount. In any case, it's not as if he was a key player for Cowdenbeath or even particularly highly thought of by the manager, so that should figure in limiting the amount of compensation due.

He was our Player Of The Season in the 2017/18 season, scoring 2 goals against Cove to keep us in the League.

I'd say he's been an important player for the club and that should be reflected in the compensation figure.
