Strapp has apparently just started following Dunfermline on twitter according to their thread.
By the rules of our thread, that means he is signing for the Pars.
Although, having checked, he does follow us as well. Dunno if its a new thing though.
Nah he’s followed us for a while, no idea how long he’s followed Dunfermline.
God, I love and hate this time of the season.

Good enough for a two year deal.
In Scott Brown’s eyes aye but that doesn’t mean fans can’t want another left back. Not that I suspect it’ll happen.

I'd much rather both were gone tbh.
Well aye but ones been given a two year deal and the other a one year deal so not happening sadly.

Some wild comments on here! Why would we sign another starting left back? We've literally just given the incumbent a two year contract.
Because the incumbent isn’t good enough?

Oh, but we do.
This isn’t the first time you’ve mentioned this. You’re starting to give me the fear that your ITK and we’ll be going with McAllister and Reading is first choice. Reading I can just about allow* however we can scrap any plan to win promotion this season if McAllister is regularly starting at RB. Will actually be kind of glad if Sanders and Musonda move on as it’ll force the club to freshen up the defence.
*I’d much rather both were back up.

This, Friday and Saturday seems to be the #imminent days this transfer window.

Who was the Winters who played for us? Robbie or David? I always got the two mixed up.
Edited to add: They both played for us, according to Wikipedia.
Aye, both played. Fun fact, Robbie Winters is my DPD driver.

Not overly bothered if Musonda moves on but watch him sign for another championship club and play the vast majority of games. If he does go it means we need 2 centre backs and another LB to challenge Reading.

The overreaction to the signing of anyone who has so much as ventured across the border is laughable. He might well be shite but simply writing him off as a shite Glenndinning signing is total laziness.
This, as you say he may well be shite however given we already have two starting wingers in Murphy and Henderson he’s worth a punt. He just needs to contribute more than Amartey and McGeady did this season to be considered a success.
I’d be a bit more concerned if we were making this sort of signing for the RB position. They need to be an almost guaranteed success or we risk a Ahui/McAllister situation.

Even with the Green and White £?

Sorry Mum.
I forgot how well we've done with players like this in the past. Maybe he's gem, fingers crossed.
You are aware Coventry City are an English championship side and not some Vanarama South jobber team.

He played a few games for U Cluj, not The Cluj.
Kind of like saying he played for Rangers but it's Berwick Rangers.
A Glendinning tombola pick right there. Hope to God it's not true.
It’s not like saying that at all though is it? Both teams are Romanian top league. You’re being negative about the signing before he’s even in the door, get a grip ffs.

Must be alright if he was playing games for Cluj.
There seems to be 2 Cluj teams in the Romanian top division. He’s been at the lesser known one. They finished 7th in Romanian league.

Only thing that's been said on our end is that it's a 'top 4' budget. Probably underselling it a little though.
If your signing shite like Robbie Muirhead and Reece McAlear you either don’t have a top 4 budget or Martindale is spending it horrendously.

We also have Guthrie and McRoberts ( both forwards ) signed
I’m off to Germany on 13th June, as I suspect you are also. How many signings/re-signings should we expect prior to that?

Trying to get away from the SRE chat, interesting comments from Brown on website: “"It's a really competitive transfer market and I'm happy we've so far got the ones we wanted who were first choice for the positions we needed to fill. Obviously you're going to miss out at times but the squad's coming together nicely and we'd still like a couple more."
I hope he’s severely under cooking it by saying “a couple more” as we’re still 5 or 6 players away imo.

It’s a real shame this drama seems to have overshadowed what has been a really positive start to the transfer window.

I would rather see the seggie fence cut down and Ayr fans occupy the entire North Stand and terracing and give Celtic the SRE than have them in the end sections of the NortStand etc .
For the guys who don’t want to go to Somerset for games v Celtic and Rangers , will the boycott include games in the Premiership should we go up ?No, I would attend competitive games against them but not going to a friendly.

The young uns aren't pleased. I know a lot of folk have mixed feelings about 'the Ragazzi' or whatever they want to be known.
They are young and idealistic but you've got to respect their passion for the club. The short term cash boost wouldn't be worth the long term alienation of these young guys who've chosen being Ayr fans over the the easy option of the OF.
Giving up the HOME end is a horrible idea.
If they feel that strongly about it then just boycott the game.
