Only children and idiots use asterisks when talking about their rival clubs.

I’d like it noted that I will not be participating in any sort of guard of honour for this mob and will instead chose to stay in the pub till after kickoff.
f**k Airdrie.

Depends what league we're in. Might as well keep them another year if we're in league 1. Don't fancy a squad overhaul in that league.
The majority of that lot would still look out there depth in league 1. We need to be ruthless in the summer regardless of what league we’re in.

neither Si or Slaney never went to Uni right enough, should have a beard and like pro wrestling and they would be fine
What one of them are you?

The first of a home double header for us against teams where we’ve taken 16/18 points from. If we can get 6 points from the games we’ll be in a very good position, possibly in the promotion playoffs which as @callum-ayrsays would be pretty mental given the season we have had. 4 points probably an acceptable outcome given we took 3 points from Inverness on Saturday.

Brown’s interview certainly seems to confirm that he consciously chose to fill the team with runners. Can’t argue with the logic in many respects. Murphy is a good player who doesn’t have the legs to play wide of a midfield 4, particularly away from home. Dempsey hasn’t been at the races for a while now. Don’t know what the script is with Chalmers, but he is probably the one player who hasn’t reacted at all to Brown. Maybe he’s signed a pre-contract elsewhere, or maybe Brown just isn’t able to live with the compromise of increasingly occasional flashes of quality but a general lack of work rate and defensive ability.. McGinty is the only one who I think is really hard done by - one mistake after months of consistency and he’s dropped.
Can’t argue with the result though, but I doubt we’ll get away with that approach very often.
This is a complete myth btw.

The lack of social media content from the club is really disappointing. After a really positive result it would of been nice to see some footage of the players celebrating with the fans etc. This sort of stuff is really important and we are sadly lacking in that department.

Dearie me, that QOS home end behind the net is incredibly sparse. I don’t think you ever recover as a club. Nevermind though you’ll always have singing anti Ayr United songs at Pittodrie.

Hilarious that we tried to sign them both and ended up with Rose!
Doing well at Hamilton. Will lead us to league 1 glory

I think my issue is that he hasn’t been consistent.
Sanders has had several howlers for example.
Sanders is his signing though

This squad doesn't fill me with hope. Chucking goals in every match doesn't help. We're over reliant on Murphy to produce every week which he's not going to be able to do. No attacking intent from midfield.
I can't wait for this season to end with us hopefully in 8th place.
Aye I can’t wait till we hopefully limp to 8th place and have a clear out in the summer. Only players I’d be gutted to see leave is Chalmers and Murphy. Luckily Murphy is signed up.

Not trailing up to Inverness on Saturday, what are the chances of getting the game on IPTV? Do Caley provide a stream for overseas viewers?

Day 1 came out with a £110 profit and day 2 a £60 lost so still £50 up going into day 3.

Deal. We’re not quite at the must win stage yet however it’s a must not lose.

Potentially going to be pretty grim watching the results come in today, hoping for a draw between Airdrie and ICT, wins for Thistle, Raith and Dundee United.

I'm sure at one point they'd beaten us twice and the rest of the league combined just once

Earlier on in the season they had only won two league games. Both came against ourselves.

Andy Weir, also popped up in an episode of Still Game (spotty boy on the cinema desk). Occasionally credited as James on IMDB. Got his break in Braveheart as Young Hamish.
Last I heard he was out in US doing stuff. Nice fella.
Haud the bus, spotty specky Simon was an Ayr fan?

There is also the lead singer of Belle and Sebastian and the non ginger from Biffy Clyro
I’m not sure there is much scope for collaboration on an Ayr United song though with the differences in musical style and Coolio being dead unfortunately.
Non ginger from Biffy Clyro is a Rangers fan.

Yesterday was a worryingly inept performance, as bad as anything we seen under Bullen. Flash score has us as having three shots on target however I genuinely can’t remember any. That being said that’s probably the first time since Brown came in that we’ve lost a game we would of been expecting to win. So it’s not quite panic stations yesterday. The bottom of the league is really tightening up and we just need to hope we can limp to survival and get the majority of this lot out the door.
