There  is also the lead singer of Belle and Sebastian and the non ginger from Biffy Clyro

I’m not sure there is much scope for collaboration on an Ayr United song though with the differences in musical style and Coolio being dead unfortunately.

Non ginger from Biffy Clyro is a Rangers fan.

  2. Yesterday was a worryingly inept performance, as bad as anything we seen under Bullen. Flash score has us as having three shots on target however I genuinely can’t remember any. That being said that’s probably the first time since Brown came in that we’ve lost a game we would of been expecting to win.  So it’s not quite panic stations yesterday. The bottom of the league is really tightening up and we just need to hope we can limp to survival and get the majority of this lot out the door.

I get the funny feeling Brown hasnt liked Chalmers' contribution, he has been pretty rotten since he took over.....

The other two I can only assume injured

Possibly and he hasn’t been great however I don’t think bombing him out the squad completely is great unless it’s guaranteed to give him a kick up the arse.

Under Bullen, I would have seen that line up and thought, what the f**k is this?

This is the first time since Brown arrived where I’ve thought wtf. I’m admittedly a card carrying Logan Chalmers fanboy though.

  4. There has no doubt been an improvement in our results and performances under Scott Brown, 2 wins from 3 league games with our only defeat coming courtesy of our keeper chucking two in against Dundee United however we’ve far from out the sticky stuff. Dunfermline winning at Firhill last night putting a spanner in the works.

From todays games I’m hoping for a draw between ICT and Arbroath, Morton to beat Airdrie and Dundee United to beat QP.

  5. What we reckon will happen with the goalkeeping situation given Mutch is likely to be out long term and Albinson form being sketchy at best. Are we likely to bring in a goalkeeper to be number 1 or even as cover as ideally you’re not wanting to have to recall Ecrepont or Fairns with them both being starters at East Stirlingshire and Dalry Thistle.

I think some Ayr fans have a bit more animosity towards Airdrie than is entirely necessary, but it's still been fun to keep beating them this year. Kept me going through the last dark days of the Bullen regime.

Awktt who cares, football rivalry is good and healthy imo. Taking that away and you’d be better watching rugby imo.

  7. Pretty mental that Dowds scored a hat trick yet there is an argument that he wasn’t our MOTM, McGinty was fantastic and probably the best he’s performed since signing. Sanders also looked decent in his 45 minute cameo. Will be interesting to see what we do with the defence on Saturday given Stanger will be available.

Not sure if it’s already been mentioned but did anyone see the kick out from Airdrie number 26 yesterday inside our box. A definite sending off had the linesman and/or referee clocked it.

You Sir are a dick as per your usual form! We gifted you 3 goals and you feel the need to come on here and gloat on a Saturday NIght - how sad!

We are not as you put it, an "absolute rabble", yes, we are a bit raw as we have a lot of young guys out there who are learning on the job !

Would I? Aye? Based on what exactly? My extensive (non existent) habit of calling threads bin fires? Think I've used that terminology maybe half a dozen times in the near 20 years I've been on here. But don't let that get in the way of you talking pure pish. Or in the way of the fact I'm accurately calling this absolute bin fire of a thread a bin fire of thread.

    🙄

Have a wee lie down mate. You’re getting yourself needlessly worked up at the prospect of playing Ayr United.

Not surprised to see one of their fans get a bit carried away in their big cup final.

Does anyone else cringe at these social media comments by L.B.? Surly a personal message to Fraser would be the appropriate way to congratulate a previous employee. Maybe I'm judging it wrongly, but pure stalker ex vibes from him.

Aye it’s very cringy. Suppose it’s good that he’s not bitter about his sacking but it just comes across as really weird.
