I think some Ayr fans have a bit more animosity towards Airdrie than is entirely necessary, but it's still been fun to keep beating them this year. Kept me going through the last dark days of the Bullen regime.
Awktt who cares, football rivalry is good and healthy imo. Taking that away and you’d be better watching rugby imo.

Pretty mental that Dowds scored a hat trick yet there is an argument that he wasn’t our MOTM, McGinty was fantastic and probably the best he’s performed since signing. Sanders also looked decent in his 45 minute cameo. Will be interesting to see what we do with the defence on Saturday given Stanger will be available.
Not sure if it’s already been mentioned but did anyone see the kick out from Airdrie number 26 yesterday inside our box. A definite sending off had the linesman and/or referee clocked it.

You Sir are a dick as per your usual form! We gifted you 3 goals and you feel the need to come on here and gloat on a Saturday NIght - how sad!
We are not as you put it, an "absolute rabble", yes, we are a bit raw as we have a lot of young guys out there who are learning on the job !

Would I? Aye? Based on what exactly? My extensive (non existent) habit of calling threads bin fires? Think I've used that terminology maybe half a dozen times in the near 20 years I've been on here. But don't let that get in the way of you talking pure pish. Or in the way of the fact I'm accurately calling this absolute bin fire of a thread a bin fire of thread.
Have a wee lie down mate. You’re getting yourself needlessly worked up at the prospect of playing Ayr United.

Not surprised to see one of their fans get a bit carried away in their big cup final.

I’ve missed the last two games, any idea what squad numbers McHugh and Willioughby have been given?

Yes. I watch training every week.
So you, a complete by-stander can tell how much effort someone is putting in during training. Bullen would absoulotley love you.

Whatever happened to that international man of mystery The Red Diamond?
I’ve heard rumours that he is busy working on worldwide issues concerning eggs?Death in Vegas spun his jaw into orbit on our last visit.

Glad that’s the pantomime over and I was out the country for it. Seems we took a good crowd up, fingers crossed we can take a decent support to Airdrie on Saturday for what is without a doubt a bigger game than today was.
With a decent windfall made from the game I’d hope to see 1 or 2 additions in before end of February. A right back and attacking midfielder being the priorities imo.

We’ve swapped Rose for Willoughby.
Are we:
a) better off
b) worse off
c) about the same.
Answers on a postcard.
Who really knows until we’ve seen him play?
. Same with McHugh replacing Senga/Young.

What are the chances of you letting Stephen Kelly leave on loan? Rumour doing the rounds on our thread that he could be joining us? Would seem a strange one as he seems to be playing semi regularly for you.

Was Rose not on a one year deal with the option of another year ? If so surely not coming back.
Think that was Amartey. Rose was a two year deal.

You think there's a chance we could sign all of them?
No, but it wouldn’t surprise me to see one of them come in.

Marc McNulty, Stevie May, Lewis Jamieson, Ali Crawford or Stephen Kelly
Always next window lads...
All these players could still happen. Loan window doesn’t shut till end of February. If there is any truth in Stephen Kelly then that would be a cracking signing. My favourite loan player other than Chalmers.

Not sure why people were expecting us to defo sign players today? Window closes at half 11 tomorrow night and I’d be disappointed if we didn’t have a couple is signings then.

Looking to add to the squad this week
Interesting that’s he hints at permanents. I presumed it would be the loan market we were fishing in.

Hopefully a busy week ahead on the transfer front. In an ideal world we’ll see a LB, RB, CM and Striker come in. I think we may need to settle for one fullback, centre mid and striker though.

Posting cryptic clues instead of just naming the player is pish patter imo. Either say the name or don’t post anything. Ryan Duncan was the player @itzdrk was referring too, no idea about @ComradeDiego

What's the chance that Frankie is maybe moving on?
He’ll be away at end of the season.

Odd signing. Centre back is he not? The one area of defence that was pretty well covered with Frankie coming back
Frankie injury record isn’t great so if he was to get injured we’d be down to just having McGinty and Stanger. Sensible signing imo. Ideally we’ll sign at least 1 fullback too.

Buzzing for this one, seems to be a bit of a buzz around the club again. Good chance we’ll outnumber Queens fans tomorrow.

What we reckon will happen with the goalkeeping situation given Mutch is likely to be out long term and Albinson form being sketchy at best. Are we likely to bring in a goalkeeper to be number 1 or even as cover as ideally you’re not wanting to have to recall Ecrepont or Fairns with them both being starters at East Stirlingshire and Dalry Thistle.
