  1. Deal. We’re not quite at the must win stage yet however it’s a must not lose.
  2. Potentially going to be pretty grim watching the results come in today, hoping for a draw between Airdrie and ICT, wins for Thistle, Raith and Dundee United.
  3. Earlier on in the season they had only won two league games. Both came against ourselves.
  4. Yesterday was a worryingly inept performance, as bad as anything we seen under Bullen. Flash score has us as having three shots on target however I genuinely can’t remember any. That being said that’s probably the first time since Brown came in that we’ve lost a game we would of been expecting to win. So it’s not quite panic stations yesterday. The bottom of the league is really tightening up and we just need to hope we can limp to survival and get the majority of this lot out the door.
  5. I could see him at a bottom half premiership team (based on last seasons performances) however not a chance Hearts are after him. Gordon and Clark both far superior goalies.
  6. A miracle may come in the shape of Ross Stewart. He looked very suspect on Friday night.
  7. Possibly and he hasn’t been great however I don’t think bombing him out the squad completely is great unless it’s guaranteed to give him a kick up the arse. This is the first time since Brown arrived where I’ve thought wtf. I’m admittedly a card carrying Logan Chalmers fanboy though.
  8. No Chalmers? Hopefully a knock rather than a falling out as when he’s on form he’s our best player.
  9. I agree ICT and Queens Park and their vanity project heading back to the seaside league would be hilarious for all concerned.
  10. If you want an indication of how wrong we got our recruitment in the summer and January you just have to look at Raiths bench from today. At least 5 of them would walk into our starting 11. Euan Murray who was injured would also do the same.
  11. There has no doubt been an improvement in our results and performances under Scott Brown, 2 wins from 3 league games with our only defeat coming courtesy of our keeper chucking two in against Dundee United however we’ve far from out the sticky stuff. Dunfermline winning at Firhill last night putting a spanner in the works. From todays games I’m hoping for a draw between ICT and Arbroath, Morton to beat Airdrie and Dundee United to beat QP.
  12. I’d imagine he’s came in as back up to Albinson while Mutch is out. Means not having to recall Ecrepont/Ferns who are both playing every week at their loan clubs. If Albinson sketchy form continues then he may get a chance.
  13. Not had a chance to watch the presser yet, is it mentioned how long Murphy is likely to be out for? A big miss.
  14. What we reckon will happen with the goalkeeping situation given Mutch is likely to be out long term and Albinson form being sketchy at best. Are we likely to bring in a goalkeeper to be number 1 or even as cover as ideally you’re not wanting to have to recall Ecrepont or Fairns with them both being starters at East Stirlingshire and Dalry Thistle.
  15. Awktt who cares, football rivalry is good and healthy imo. Taking that away and you’d be better watching rugby imo.
  16. Pretty mental that Dowds scored a hat trick yet there is an argument that he wasn’t our MOTM, McGinty was fantastic and probably the best he’s performed since signing. Sanders also looked decent in his 45 minute cameo. Will be interesting to see what we do with the defence on Saturday given Stanger will be available. Not sure if it’s already been mentioned but did anyone see the kick out from Airdrie number 26 yesterday inside our box. A definite sending off had the linesman and/or referee clocked it.
  17. Have a wee lie down mate. You’re getting yourself needlessly worked up at the prospect of playing Ayr United.
