If you had read what I said, I was asking participants on here to report their findings of shortages with a view to finding out just how significant the problem is. So far I have not experienced shortages of fuel or food.

Not my outlook on life at all.

I documented a while back I couldn't get my MS medication. This quarter is shaping up the same. I have had trouble recently with fresh green products, CAT FOOD and milk recently. MILK! 🤣

I'm not alone so, being for the benefit of Mr. Shite.......

How reassuring is it to learn that our PM has advised one and all there is absolutely no need to panic buy?
Given these words of wisdom from the man at the top, it's hard to understand why queues are now forming at many filling stations down there in Englandshire!

    Eta...
Just heard someone on a radio phone in programme tell listeners that, as he sat in a queue for petrol at a a filling station the price rose from £1.31 per litre to £1.51.

We are a 1 petrol station town. Despite said petrol station being a supermarket station and the supermarkets saying categorically they don't anticipate any issues with fuel supply, at 9.45am this morning the queue was so long the police were there trying to stop folk blocking other streets. What an uber clusterfuck.

I think you're seeing the effect of folk being constantly told one thing which does not correspond  with their own empirical experience. Nobody believes what the Government tells them anymore and even in this case where there probably is loads of fuel in refineries, it's the boy who cried wolf time.

As aware as ever Bozo when questioned on the haulage crisis "there is no shortage of fuel in GB". f**k me even the most unaware news averse hermit knows that is the case. He simply refuses point blank to accept the issues first and foremost so he's never actually going to seek a solution.

In a perverse way the current situation reminds me of the start of BRALT thread on here. I wake up, put some news on and just wait for the next event to unfold. It's beyond a joke now.

I won't hold my breath on the revolution though. Most of the folk he's fucked over will be too emaciated to do anything.

UK: I know we told all you foreign chaps to f**k off, but we're in a spot of bother. Would some of the HGV drivers and food processing chaps like to come over and help us out of this tiny problem? Just for a temporary period. Then you can all f**k off again.

....and if you also have some friends who can pick vegetables, look after old folk with alzheimers or spend all day hitting cows over the head with hammers we'd be bally grateful to hear from them. Toodle pip!!

Permanent UC uplift would have to come out of people’s pockets, says PM

So there we have it folks. A chance for a proper redistribution of wealth but (although it won't happen) IF the Universal Credit uplift WAS made permanent, it will be paid for by regular folk in work.

Again, with either deliberate ignorance of who UC helps or more likely, wilful representation he trots out the old trope that albeit macht frei. 40% of 6 million UC recipients CANNOT work due to health. But f**k them eh? They can starve along with their kids.

The best solution is to continue to invest in people’s skills, to make sure that they are getting the type of jobs that reward their hard work

It’ll happen sooner than you think.

    Will it f**k.

And what's more I suspect that YOU know it's over. Financially, we are hemorrhaging income due to catastrophic export figures. For example, we dropped 2.5 BILLION pounds in the first seven months of this year to IRELAND ALONE.

We have no friends. We have no trade deals to speak of. We have no workers. We have no goodwill anywhere of note and we are seen for what we are- a completely inept clusterfuck run by inbred incompetents and inhabited by pitchfork wielding racists.

We are seen abroad with a mixture of pity, scorn and incredibility.

    We'll never get that back.

    This is creating great opportunities.

I already know of people who have applied to take their HGV.

Once Covid fades away all the people doing useless security jobs, test and trace and whatever will gravitate towards the productive economy.

Short-term problem but the market will solve it.

Time for Remoaners to get over it!!

  8. I feel genuinely sorry for these "red wall" types who voted Conservative as well as those who didn't in sink estates all over the shop. They have absolutely no chance these days. Starmer's picking fights with his own party when the enemy is getting away with complete murder

I'd happily accept being worse off for a spell with the anticipation things will improve, as opposed to the illusion that this "great power" is on the way to some magical renaissance. It's not.

The United Kingdom is completely fucked. It's over and incredibly, the collapse is happening on a daily basis in real time.

We don’t have to worry up here. We are as safe as houses now that the Nats are in bed with some Vegan cyclists. Now that Oil and Gas is taboo, just blame the English or heaven forbid, English Toareees, if the lights go out.

    Yup. Toareees are to blame.

Thanks for popping in again mate.

In return I demand the same for the Union. Nobody has a clue for either m8.

I'll help you out mate for the Union side. 5 years time- I'll be working harder than ever but be worse off than ever before in financial terms.

10 years time- incinerated by a Chinese nuclear device as a direct result of some impotent little Englander Tory c**t waving his flaccid schlong pretending that the UK is a "major power".

  11. Would vote yes again. No doubt things would be hard at first but for me, making our own decisions is what it's all about. When you see the current harridan of a Home Secretary almost explode with ecstacy at the prospect of men, women and children drowning in the English Channel then, f**k me, that's inhumane. England will vote for this again and again and again and again. f**k that.

Of Britain's referendums in 2014 and 2016 we got one right and the other wrong.

Incredibly, the Scotch Nats want another go to make and arse of themselves alongside their English cousins.

Thankfully, the chances of this happening are slim.

    "SCOTCH"

Here we go again. More derogatory pish from Buckinghamshire's laugh a minute Uncle Tam.

Hence we get the detritus. You are absolutely spot on. We need people who have been successful in life (which comes at a cost), but we don’t pay enough money for the talent. We end up with career civil servants, failed councillors and trade union wastrels.

    Define "successful at life".

    Cheers.

Oh dear. Brown should have gone to Specsavers.

I hope he can see Edinburgh from his North Queensferry mansion. He'll be eternally tortured when he looks out his window each day and sees the glorious capital of an independent Scotland.

He should become friends on Facebook with Egon Krenz to prepare on what to do when the country you used to lead ceases to exist.
