  1. County are a massive club no point in comparing ourselves with them. Great effort from the DABs that and more promising news from Saints, 20,000 is too much to ask 15000 would be great.
  2. You could delete that post that might help. Just watched this weeks, massive deviations from the books and I am starting to lose a bit of interest as a result. Obviously things have to change and some have been for the better but it is taking away from my enjoyment a bit.
  3. Well we are 7000 ahead of you, and I'm not convinced you will be able to close that gap in two and a bit weeks tbh. Just do your best guys.
  4. Yes and I'd pay double but it's still a shite price they could have had them at £20 and £10 which is reasonable, the prices won't effect the crowd though I just think it's a bit snide.
  5. By the way these ticket prices are shite, especially for a game that won't sell out.
  6. I've seen enough to know Aberdeen are not 'definitely playing the best football of the 3'.
  7. Neither of you have seen much of Aberdeen in the past few months I take it. I hope we make it solely just to piss everyone off.
  8. The new Daario doesn't have half the charisma of the previous one, I hope he grows into the role. Shae is a shite character in the adaptation and the actress who plays her is simply awful, the worst thing about the show I'd say. That aside it was a good episode and having read the books you can see things are being set up nicely, I'm going to try my best not to be a book bore about this season but even in this episode we had a dose of pointless nudity with so much story to tell I wish they'd avoid the needless titillation.
  9. Jeez. Personally I would say it would be best if the creator finished the story he started, can't see it though. He has the ending as he has told the producers so it's just how we get there, I want GRRM's story even though it'll be long winded and rambling, that's part of the charm for me.
  10. Finally finished the books and.... BOOK SPOILER EDIT; To say that it's a book spoiler, just in case.
  11. I thought that was much better with some lovely little nods in there too which are always nice. I'm coming across as a bore I know but I can't get excited at all for the return of this version of Moriarty, I liked Heath Ledger's Joker but I don't need to see him in a BBC adaptation of Sherlock Holmes.
  12. Holmes would never have been such a socialite. It's been a while since I've read the books but I'm pretty sure he doesn't even go to the wedding although he is there when the couple leave the church which is seen as a big deal. The relationship between the two is too prominent an hour of laddy banter followed by 20 minutes of mystery was a poor mix. While we are at it Lestrade is too competent and Mycroft's superior intelligence is barely touch on. I think both were important in my enjoyment of the books.
  13. That latest episode was utter shite. The drunk scene was as unfunny as it was unnecessary. The writers have removed Sherlock too far from the character in the books no doubt due to believing their own hype. What a waste of good actors.

    Breaking Bad

I don't really think the Sopranos or the Shield come close to this as enjoyable as they both were. The Wire was a different type of show from any of those and is difficult to compare but I certainly thought it was better than the Shield or the Sopranos. No one show will definitively be "The greatest TV show ever" no matter how much you say it. It's subjective.

I bet as a kid when you found out santa wasn't real you were straight into school the next day telling everyone that would listen.

One of my favourite moments was Walt admitting that he did it for him and that he liked it and even though he was a pissy wee bitch for most of the time I was kinda chuffed seeing Jesse get away at the end.

That was after the meeting with Lydia and Todd, wasn't it?

    Breaking Bad

Yeah that seemed a bit off to me. Also I didn't like the close up of the Stevia/ Ricin going in to the tea it was too much. If she hadn't been poisoned then that would have been a nice bluff but many had called it and it seemed a little forced. These are just minor gripes it was an enjoyable episode and a fantastic series, I look forward to re-watching it many times.

    Breaking Bad

I'll be waiting until tomorrow night once I'm home from work washed, changed, fed and settled before I put this on. This will be the last time I watch the show without a clue as to what might happen and I want to savour it.

    Breaking Bad

From what we know right now I think he will come back to kill the Nazi's for killing Hank and to his surprise he will find Jesse try and square things with him only for Jesse to double cross him and kill him.

Worse than shooting a man in the face?

    Breaking Bad

I meant to say in my earlier post that I actually cheered out loud when Walt told Jesse about Jane I wasn't in the least bit surprised that he was spared but it was done in a believable way so my grip is minimal. I'd need to watch the series again but I think that is now my favourite episode ahead of the one where they went to Mexico. Oh and I think it'll be Walt Jr doing the spray painting I think he is going to go off the rails now.
