  1. I don't know - did you switch to Falkirk or was that the first club you supported?

Every genuine fitba fan know that a club is for life - not just for fantasies on P&B.

If you did switch aye, that's cuntery. No two ways about it.

Did you not get the Scottish football in general?

I mentioned Ibrox as it's relevant in the thread topic. I didn't expec the bloody inquisition! tongue.gif

    Long story short.

If I moaned the face aff ma da he'd take me to a game somewhere.

Broomfield, East end park, murton etc. Anywhere to shut me up! smile.gif

  2. And there we have it - as if there was ever a doubt. laugh.gif

Every football fan worthy of the name knows that you just do not change teams. Unless you are some kind of absolute c**t.

    laugh.gif

    Seriously?

I was brought up at Ibrox by my grandad and uncles due to my catholic dad not being interested in football. I was there when the cup winners cup trophy was paraded. I was and still am a supporter of Scottish football in general.

When I moved to Falkirk in 1980, I started to go to Brockville and have supported them since then.

So. By your rules, I'm one? Really?

    Edit: pselling!

  3. I strongly disagree with this. I well remember Celtic being within a baw hair of liquidation before the excellent Bunnet rescued them. Every football fan in Scotland was happy with that outcome.

Obviously that was before The Interwebs so not so many folk could do much except hand-write a letter to The Herald.

However, there is a major difference. You would never find a Bear writing something like "The Big Tim Tax Case Blog". Most Rangers fans don't give a f**k about Celtic. They, otoh, are obsessed by us even to the extent of writing to Glasgow Trading Standards about our 140 years claim.

Oh and a note to mods. I got a warning and and post deleted for using the term '****' last week. Feel free to delete this post and warn me again. Recognise, though, that I mean not a jot of harm in using the term.

Maybe I missed the post but, I don't remember anything that you posted that is not a reasoned (if not agreed with) opinion.

  4. Well i was watching dirty dozen first and noticed that the other two films were starting, went for TBAR as i've not watched it in ages.

    Nah i can multi task.

Yes you can. You can post bull and shit at the same time!

    To get back on track.

None of the authorities running the game in this country have any credibility left.

Longmuir had a great opportunity and missed it by a mile.

  5. Well said. Several alleged Yorkshire-based Kilmarnock/The Rangers fans are spoiling this wonderful thread with their constant, non-topic whingeing and tit-for-tat point scoring.

I reckon that we would be at page 2000 if it wasn't for their "contributions". Having read every page since Pozbaird opened up the best thread on here ever, the three Amigos and the White Rose Killie guy have ruined what was once a masterpiece of non-professional journalism, great debate, massive intrigue, and generally just enjoying the chess-like moves of the various shysters involved in the plot. It has almost been turned into a personal battlefield for these four characters. Dhenboy isn't much better either IMHO.

It's becoming as bad as the Celtic v Rangers, Rangers v Celtic Sub-section, ie, a pile of keech.

Like you, Ihave followed this thread from day one. Didn't contribute muc hthen as my questions, etc had been covered a few posts later. I mainly now just look in to see what's changed.

To be fair to WRK he's responding to a pile of shite and is guilty by association. This thread will get back on track when there is more information available to debate. In the meantime. Let the kids squabble in their sandpit.

When the original and noteable absentees return, we'll know we'ree back on track.

  6. Just sent this email to the SFA..........

Dear sir/madam I have just been watching on BBC Alba the game between Brechin City and The Rangers. Can you please confirm that you will be investigating not only the television and radio footage, but also the video recording made by the police (which they were clearly shown doing) and taking action against The Rangers Football Club for the singing of banned songs. Your association has made it known on many an occasion that it will not stand for such bigotry and that any proof of such action would be severely dealt with. Well the proof was for all to see and hear today, not only by those at the ground, but also those watching and listening at home. If this is the type of behaviour that we can expect to be the norm from such fans, and not a minority today, then I am afraid that David Longmuir's statement this afternoon that The Rangers fans will be made welcome to the grounds they visit in the SFL, will be yet another ill-judged view of what is going on in Scottish football by the authoritise that are charged with looking after our national game. You know what you have to do.

The SFL have to make a statement before the season starts. I said (thousands of pages ago) that getting sellic and newco as far apart in the leagues would be a chance to get those "clubs" to weed out those responsible and the SFL and, for that matter the SPL, should be making it clear to both that POINTS DEDUCTIONS will be imposed otherwise.

Would be interesting to see how that affected league positions.

  7. rolleyes.gif All of that money from their fans and transfer fees. Think of how long it'll be before you smaller clubs end up the same way as them. Think about it, the consequences of say.... Hearts disappearing. Nothing. No one cares. You know all this football integrity counts for nothing when you go under.

We of course would be let into another league. EPL? Probably. I'm not worrying. I'm loving this but the rest of you......be careful what you wish for lads. Mark my words......

You've been on the bevvy, ain't ya?

  8. So. Lawyers in now?

Thought that would have happened ages ago (posted hundreds of pages back about that).

Said then that they would have the legal eagles trying to f**k us over and now it's happening. Just like everything in this farce, it is left until the clowns that are charged with running our game, run out of ways to feed us shite and diatribe so, go for corruption and compound that with threats.

Thought Longmuir had the baws, when passed the poisoned chalice, to tell those corrupt arses to GTF but, instead falls in to the hole they are all digging for the game.

    Shame on them all!

  9. Mentioned already but this really is succinct and to the point.

    http://blogs.channel...nce-saloon/2091

Perhaps the time is right and to rid Scottish Football of at least a good part of Scotland's shame. We will recover financially even if it takes some time but the value of no longer having to be subjected to the filth and bigotry of the Rangers support is immeasurable. No more Rule Britannia and Nazi salutes, no more FTP. This could be the best breath of fresh air the Scottish game has had for a century. Bring it on. No to newco!! End of!!

Maybe it's the constant trying to catch up on this thread that is bursting my head but..

Punting TCFKAR into the 3rd (at best) gives good time for issues to be addressed.

    1. Sectarian singing/chants, etc.

Get them as far away from each other as possible in the leagues and then

    2. Punish any of that crap surfacing by deducting points.

If this "supposed" cleaning up of the bile generated from these two monsters is to be eradicated, then surely the biggest "trial separation" in football can be the time to do it?

If they are as far apart in the league as possible the respective (or ONE) bodies could stamp on it without the "they started it" pish.

Shellik "fans" giving it pro IRA etc, TCFKAR doing the "up to the knees" stuff etc.

Get them told that points WILL be deducted. See if that gets promotion, wins leagues or gets a euro place!

Maybe it's a good time to let that crap settle.

I'm most likely spouting pish but, there is a general idea there somewhere.

(dons tin helmet &hides behind couch!).

  10. Email Sent To SFA/SFL

    Dear Sirs,

I understand from today's media broadcasts and websites that a deal has been struck to parachute a brand new club with no history , no accounts, three players and no proof to show they have funds enough to fulfil a season's fixtures straight into the second tier of Scottish football .

If the above is not true as I'm sure it is not (as league fixing is surely as frowned apron as match fixing) then can you please explain why the above is being discussed as fact on our National TV, radio and press without a denial from this country's footballing governing bodies ?

I look forward to your reply.

    Kind regards

    Mistake, or subtle dig?

  11. There's a book to be written at the end of this saga - and by golly, it could be and should be a belter.....

Someone will do it. My money is on a Daily Retard hack, and my money is on it being shit - when in fact it should be essential reading.

Please, someone with a bit of substance do it.

If someone like Philip Differ has been looking in here, I'd expect a right good t.v. comedy from it!

  12. Now, I like Charles Green. But I also like John Brown. Which is best? There's only one way to find out.....

Who gave Brown permission to use Ibrox to make his "speech"? Craig Whyte? If you owned the place and a former employee was mouthing off to the media about you, would you let them use your property to continue such behaviour? Strathclyde's finest didn't seem to mind <_<

It's close to Govan police station.

    The big Jailhoose?

    Just a thought.

  13. If they had implemented sackings immediately like they should have by getting rid off at least 7 of the highest earners ( possible £550K saving a month easy ) and asking for wage reductions for the remaining players THEN ! this thread would be enriched with Motherwell,Hearts,Dundee Utd and maybe even St Johnstone passing them by climbing up the league and Rangers finishing 6thThis would have been their worst finish since post war .

Absolutely. However I was making the point that their inept decisions add to this thread. I'm in no way disagreeing with you.

  14. Hopefully Nuff n Helps fees are placed in the CVA pot eventually as that's about as much as they should get by not doing their job properly.I personally see the HMRC getting upset that the admin are earning over 90% of what the CVA has and another £4 million clawed back is in the best interests of the creditors and the HMRC are the majority.

......... has enriched this thread and, I think they give good value! biggrin.gif
