Falkirk by far the better team.

No complaints from me other than our truly spineless players.

Joe Newell, Rocky Bushiri, Jake Doyle-Hayes, Josh Campbell, honking honking footballers.

Early signs but alarm bells are ringing on Kyle McClelland and Lewis Miller too.

I thought McLelland looked fine, composed and resembled a football player. As for Miller……dreadful. This Bushiri lunacy needs to come to a juddering halt, he’ll never be a footballer. What’s concerning you regarding McLelland?

As a Unionist I know people would love it if I was raging or losing the head and admittedly I might be if I was in anyway worried we would lose the argument but right now I'm comfortable and enjoying this false dawn.

Let's skip this foreplay segment and get straight into the gritty detail which the SNP so far don't seem to want to do.

They're good at throwing red meat and endorsing loonies but when it comes to the forthcoming debate they've produced nothing of value. We are still in the same 2014 debate position. After a decade you might have expected slightly more...

It differs greatly Albus. In 2014 they were building Scotland’s future on oil revenues. Now, only 8 years down the line, they can’t even bring themselves to mention the”O” word.

I genuinely think you need to take a step back and reflect.

If you hate Hibs as much as this, then maybe you need to take a break?

Anyway, peace and love etc......but just chill out a bit man

So aspiring to improve and prioritise our shambolic derby record means that one hates Hibs. Aye, very good. Enjoy the odd point against Livingston and Ross County.

No, part of that is about ensuring that the society they live in is better than the one a generation before. If you want to obsess about your own sprogs' wellbeing only, kindly f**k off to some backward shithole state like Abu Dhabi where indentured fucking servants can serve them.

A: It produces generational inequality and, by extension, generational poverty.

It absolutely contributes to it, but by all means continue with the no doubt wild whataboutery exercise you're setting up here.

Again, kindly f**k off to Abu Dhabi with sociopathic level of family unit individualism.

To think, on here they accuse Kincardine of drinking too much!

You really shouldn’t get to concerned about this.  After all you’re unlikely to accumulate much wealth and I can’t imagine you will have any kids to leave it to.

    Certainly hope not anyway!

He couldn’t possibly accumulate wealth given that his whole life revolves around a football forum. It’s actually quite sad.

You truly are a horrible wee man. Your party doesnt ‘reward hard work’ it fucking attempts to ostracise any fucker who works their arse off and asks for pay commensurate with the cost of living. Fucking working people cannae heat their houses in winter or rely on foodbanks etc. Your party is devoid of a fucking single member with a soul. You’re either purposefully trying to be a pantomime villain here or actually defending a party that couldnt give a f**k about you. f**k the snp and labour party too.

What an appalling thing to say, it would appear that it’s you who is the horrible man. The government give people cars and houses for free, we pay “alcoholic allowances” to wastrels sitting in pubs and bookies all day, we struggle to get people to do certain jobs, because it’s more beneficial to be on benefits!  Yet you chastise me! Pray tell, what would you do? And they are not my party, I don’t vote Conservative.

    Arent tories just fucking horrible?

They really are, appalling people. Wanting to reward hard work and aspiration. What a nerve. Dreadful people.
If only they were like Labour and the SNP showering the work shy with “free things”.

    Hearts do play hoofball?

He left Sunderland in second and his team got promoted.

He saved Bristol City from relegation and is their longest serving manager.

Need to give him a chance.  Has to be better than Maloney that’s for sure.

Maybe we should try hoofball then. Seems to prevail in derby matches. Or do they not matter to you?
As for Maloney, you are right, anything is an improvement.
As for giving him a chance, how long do you suggest we give him? We play Hearts second game of the season. Is yet another defeat to them acceptable?
We should be recruiting manager’s targeted to win derby games, not winning at Ross County and St Mirren.

  9. 47 minutes ago, Leith Green said:

I can see you are a wee bit miffed but that's a bit of a stretch m9.

We loved what Stubbs did for us but the Saint Mirren fans hate him.

Hearts fans flew a banner over Tynecastle to remove the tramp, now he got them 3rd and Europe.

Don't assume that one outcome in football automatically predicts the next.

The one thing I will assume after 50 years of watching Hibs, is that we’ll continue to shit the bed against Hearts. But hey, don’t worry about that, they play hoofball and apparently finishing 3rd in the league is more important than beating them. Lennon and McLeish are the only managers that “got” the importance of derby games!

  10. 2 hours ago, Leith Green said:

    Steady.

He is not "defending the manager", rather answering another posters - slightly bonkers, but it takes all sorts - take on our manager.

n.b. A straw poll of "gadges I know" results in overwhelmingly positive vibes about LJ.

That is backed up by the Q&A last night, where he spent the time afterward talking 1-1 with fans, was open about signings and players having medicals this morning etc.

All these Sunderland and Bristol City fans must also have a “slightly bonkers” take on him. But hey, you know best because he did a bit of 1 to 1 stuff at a Q and A night.

Aye, very good! The Hibs fans buying into LJ will be the same ones that told us that Tynecastle would be flats and Hearts play hoofball!

  11. 1 minute ago, Crawford Bridge said:

What does any of that have to do with your completely wrong opinion on the most hated Sunderland manager ever?

You've been called out for talking shite and given examples as to why, no need for the tantrum about it.

They don't call you Glen Minter for nothing.

Ditch the minter patter, it’s shite and predictable, a bit like Lee Johnson as a manager.

  12. 3 minutes ago, Crawford Bridge said:

Terry Butcher, Steve Bruce, David Moyes, Jack Ross and Phil Parkinson are all way behind Lee Johnson when it comes to the popularity of Sunderland managers. I can't speak for Bristol City.

They don't call him Glen Minter for nothing, a truly terrible take.

And a truly pathetic “Hibs.net” take from you. Nearly as pathetic as some of the Hibs contributors on here who would rather finish 3rd than beat Hearts and do well in cups.
LJ was despised at his previous clubs, but you and the other clappers can laud him as Hearts continue to get bored beating us. Enjoy!

Bob Crow led a very ‘champagne socialist’ lifestyle.

I well recall, a good few years ago getting on a Silver Seas cruise liner at Rio and a variety of passengers telling me just how boorish his behaviour was on the leg from Barbados to Rio where he disembarked. Apparently, he was drunk every night and caused a lot of problems with guests and crew. Obviously, this is all hearsay but I did hear this about him from other sources.

He died quite soon afterwards with a lot of publicity and that is how I recalled what I had heard on the ship.

He certainly could talk the socialist talk.

As you well know Dawson, Bob Crow’s wealth and boorish behaviour will be perfect acceptable to the P and B denizens………because at least he wasn’t a toarree!

No, they're financially assessed. If they can't afford residential care, the state will pay for it. What they don't get to do is hold onto properties worth six figures, or fucktons of savings whilst the state pays hundreds/thousands per week for their care. I appreciate this results in massive tantrums from their sons and daughters who don't get to inherit their properties, which is of course a terrible fucking shame.

It is a terrible shame. Why would you punish people who have been prudent and aspirational? These properties have been bought with earnings that tax was paid on.

On the subject of pensioners, I've never known a skint pensioner

If they have to go into a care home, they become skint very quickly. There are plenty skint pensioners.

There are not many skint trade union leaders or train drivers though.

He does seem frightfully cross. He just reeks of some tragic weegie ravaged by human misery.

  17. We are just about to enter into another Jim Duffy era. Everything about the club at the moment is a shambles, the only saving grace is that the owner actually has serious amounts of money. We’ve recruited Sunderland and Bristol City’s most unpopular manager ever and a load of players who have never played first team football. That really bodes well!! This manager will be gone after the first round of fixtures.

Hopefully Starmer has slit his own throat today. Banning front benchers from picket lines is absurd, no one who gets angry about that is going to vote Labour anyway.

This is going to be a big problem for him at the conference. Unions and members aren't going to forget this.

And neither are the British electorate. Seeing Labour MP’s supporting this preposterous industrial action will thankfully resign them to opposition for many years to come.

  19. I will not hear a bad word about the NHS. I’ve had 100, yes 100 visits to Hospital since my diagnosis August past. The care at the Western, Royal and St John’s has been 98% outstanding. There has been the odd glitch which has to be expected, they are only human after all. I’ll be forever indebted to them.
