  1. Very enthused about the signings. I was in my local tonight, where the resident Alberts and Sevconians were suggesting that Norwegian football was Toytown. I’m not sure what it is about Scottish people……..but there is nothing more tinpot than Scottish football! Only Scottish politicians run it a close second, not Norwegian football.

It's unreal how people can't grasp the financial implications staying at home with a cold could have. So many people in poorer areas, on low incomes etc just can't afford to take a few days off without pay or with SSP (which is a joke anyway)...its not that easy, and tbh, staying at home with a cold is just a ridiculous suggestion

Sadly, nothing unreal about it Vic. These people restricting us are “money blind”. They have no concept of paying bills and balancing books.

In my utter fury at some of the incoherent nonsense from ScotGov of late I've arranged another zoom call with me MSP to ask some questions on restrictions, models, "following the science", data, Sridhar et al monetising the pandemic to name a few. If anyone's wanting me to ask a direct question geez a shout.

If it’s an SNP MSP, please ask him/her why there isn’t one dissenting voice from within their ranks. Ask him/her how that lack of people being able to think for themselves, can possibly be a good thing. Thanks.

All very true but why are there never any dissentients within the SNP political classes.

At least the Tories have a sizeable minority who are willing to hold the Government to account.

Their heroes are Harper, Swayne, IDS and many more even within the cabinet.

    Who are the SNP dissentients?

There are none Dawson, which is very dangerous. No matter how odious the Tories are, there will always be dissenters and free thinkers amongst them.

Out of all the SNP MP’s and MSP’s, you would think there might be one who could think for themselves, but no. A cult like party run by a control freak. Not healthy but to be fair, very popular with the Scottish electorate.

At last, someone recognises the danger.

We dont need your permission to be independent.  Domestic law is not worth a shit cunto.

Slowly and very slowly (too slowly for my liking, we dont have time) the people of Scotland will realise this and your union will be no more.

You need help Kenneth. Thankfully in this day and age, there is a lot of it out there. I wish you nothing but the best.

Excellent to see the English government take the right approach with the best interests of the country at heart. Shame in Scotland we have a tyrant who’s too busy playing political football.

And not even one dissenting voice from within her ranks. That is the real concern. Dictatorial at best.

  8. That, this afternoon, was the worst advert for getting boosters that I’ve seen. I’m mindful that the opposition are inept, but surely there must be one free thinking, dissenting voice amongst the SNP ranks, that are willing to stand up against this tinpot, dictatorial lunacy!! A dreadful afternoon for Scotland.

  9. Plenty rational young people on here and sitting in my company at work, suggesting that they won’t bother with the booster. I can’t blame them. This is not how to treat people and most certainly not how you treat our young people. Disgusting and the lack of any opposition beggars belief.

  10. The Anchor in Glasgow’s Gallowgate is at best, grim. That said, no sign of potential trouble, just a lot of poor souls.

Tam o Shanter in Leith’s Great Junction Street is horrific. I’m sure this hell hole will have merited a mention on this or similar threads. Absolutely dreadful place, not for the faint hearted.

Just been to Ingliston to get booster. 2 and a half hour wait 😂😂. Will give that a miss thanks.

You’ve been unlucky, I was there yesterday for my booster and flu jag, and although busy, I only waited 10 mins.

Anyway, works Xmas night out now cancelled. All very depressing.

How they can ask us to adhere to advice when that scumbag PM and his cronies don’t, is beyond preposterous.
