After the significant summer investment that’s a really poor result. Naively, I hoped there might have been a bit of a reaction tonight.

O’Reilly had a quieter game on Saturday, and if he gets back to his usual imperious best, hopefully Stenny can get the win to support the tag of favourites quite a few have given them this season. Matty Yates could score a hatful in this league, starting with Saturday. He has confidence and a bit of swagger and, not least, this might leave Tam Orr to quietly getting on with adding to his goal on Saturday. A bit of work required on playing out from the back at times - hearts in mouths at times on Saturday against Albion Rovers.

Started taking my son along to (mainly away) games towards the end of the season. Pleased to say we’ve decided to take advantage of the fantastic season ticket prices.

Having been bowled over by the performance at Elgin last weekend, my wee lad spent all week persuading me to take him again today. They absolutely blew Rovers apart in the first 25 minutes. O’Reilly really is a class act, but the togetherness and game management even when Albion Rovers got a dodgy penalty and went down to 10 men really impressed me. A couple of the through balls, particularly the cross-field one in the 2nd half were sublime. Me and the lad have gone to 3 games in the last month as neutrals (the narrow defeat at Kelty was the other one); he’s now wanting a season ticket… Stenny seem to have momentum going into the final weeks of the season.

Great atmosphere up at Elgin yesterday. My wee lad is still buzzing about Wedderburn and was singing the song coming down the road in the car. In spite of Elgin being the better team for large spells of the 2nd half, a 2-0 victory was about right.

Was standing with the Stenny fans behind the goal as a neutral today. Over the piece the defence looked really solid. The keeper has got some future ahead of him. Was a really good game. The Kelty boy standing in the far corner where the Away fans come in was a complete rocket, though.
