  1. The McHugh part is debatable - he was excellent on Tuesday night. The keeper is now performing similarly to Albinson, some fantastic saves but also selling basic goals. He hasn’t had an option in terms of Sanders, but hopefully Stanger comes back in now with Musonda moving to RB.
  2. This entire performance has been an utter disgrace. The fact an actual left back can’t get on over a CB out there when we need a goal doesn’t bode well.
  3. I was thinking that to myself initially, but then thought keepers constantly put the ball in the ground then pick it back up again…
  4. No one is telling me that Bryden, Tomlinson or McGeady offer more than him - all those in front of Amartey today. Bryden possibly in very certain games like the other night but that’s it.
  5. Yeah, you have came back down to our level now by the looks of it. A horrid game now - no one offering anything for us.
  6. Yeah, we are struggling - haven’t got a hold of the ball at all so far.
  7. That free kick against McKenzie is just hilariously bad refereeing.
  8. Yeah, exactly this. Dowds can play the McKenzie role, but obviously more effectively and act as the focal point.
  9. Yeah - I thought I had posted that in the other thread tbh! I would be surprised if Musonda didn’t start. It at least gives us a defensive option off the bench that isn’t Tomlinson though.
  10. Went too early with the lack of full back signing moaning! I mean the chances of us signing a full back and them also being good are pretty slim but still!
  11. I don’t think there’s any chance it’s happening now. Ecrepont, Ahui and Watret out to be replaced by absolutely no one! I think we should be okay, but if it backfires… A Musonda injury away from someone being wildly out of position at LB, and only having four defenders. And that’s with the hope that Stanger is back soon, as we currently only have four fit defenders!
  12. Three and a half hours (assuming it’s midnight) off another very poor transfer window. And the full back dealings becoming somehow more astounding…
  13. It definitely will be, but fingers crossed he can. I do think the extent of him not returning to his previous self after his first injury is overstated though - particularly as when be returned he has only played under clueless managers.
  14. I don’t think that’s a basis for saying he is done though! We wont have any idea until he is back training and playing really. On McAllister, I’m okay with him staying if he is a squad option only. Saying that - I think we should be utilising Watret as our back up RB as we don’t want to block his pathway so it probably makes sense to let Nick leave. If Brown thinks Watret needs another year on loan, then keep him. I’m torn on Paddy, I think he has looked good under Brown so it is a shame that he got injured. He was obviously absolutely abysmal last season though.
  15. Back on the Tomi subject, he has seven goals this season - a goal every 63 minutes, which is obscene.
  16. Last night was probably our first exciting home win of the season, with the SRE bouncing. And yet, we haven’t shared any of the goals or celebrations on social media today. It’s basic stuff like this that keeps the buzz of last night going and attracts people along - we are just so terrible at it! I know this season has been woeful and they haven’t had anything to market so they might not be used to it, but still…
  17. Interested when they’ll start releasing the hospitality packages for next season!
  18. We can loan one, at least three clubs in our league have signed full backs within Scotland. ETA, I’ll be amazed if we get someone in by tomorrow.
  19. We needed to sign a full back before Paddy got injured, if he is out for a few weeks we absolutely need to sign one now. You can’t be running with four centre halves and one right back to cover four positions. Particularly when only four are currently fit, one is injury prone, another has missed games semi regularly this season and another is off form. Somehow they have managed to worsen the strength in the full back positions. They have basically let Ecrepont go and then crossed their fingers that Reading would remain fit, and it has backfired.
  20. Possibly - however Sanders is a loan player and ideally Stanger just comes back in. Too much at stake to let Sanders play through his mistakes IMO. I also think we need someone with a bit more pace in there, particularly alongside McAllister, McGinty and Musonda as they are slow as f**k! It makes it far harder for us to get up the park…
