  1. Well, we certainly have now Fear not my friend! Many clubs in the lower divisions happily operate full-time football and balance the books without any help from Rangers.
  2. You > yer dad > someone from yer dad's work > someone on the board. So, this is a friend of a friend of a friend story, right?
  3. They posted a huge profit this year, won decent prize money and qualified for the champions league. They have no high-earners and very little debt if any either. Frankly, I don't believe a word of it ! The only club that's in any immediate danger is Kilmarnock, and even if push came to shove, full-time football would continue even in administration.
  4. They were still up to that malarkey until fairly recently. (Who knows, maybe they still are?) I went there for an interview in the late 90s / early 00s. Before the interview even started, they handed me a form and left me in a room to fill it in. It basically requested me to declare my religion as well as to give details of any churches I had attended at any time and any positions I had held within any relious organisation. I handed them a blank form back. Needless to say, I didn't get the job. Thank god! Dunno if that was the deciding factor but it can't have helped. Shower of bampots! You'd have thought that kind of stuff was illegal. Anyway, I have heartily boycotted their range of shite ever since. Probably the most effortless moral stance I've ever adopted
  5. You took the words right out of my mouth! This is mental stuff!! Tell us more about the great man!
  6. Hmmm... It really is about time that the SFL introduced some anti-franchising regulations. Just thinking ahead like. Seriously!
  7. Aye. I'm sure he was lying through his teeth when he said he received contractual wages due to him through an EBT. He hates Rangers after all
  8. I take it you missed Billy Dodds' pooly thought out PR statement / accidental confession in the Herald then?
  9. Hmmmm. "There is no scottish game without the OF". Well, the way you describe it, we don't have much of a game even with them. We don't really have much to lose. What do you care about the Scottish game anyway? Were you concerned for its death when you were trying to join the Atlantic League or the English League? Were you saying to your fellow gers, "No. We can't go! They'll die without us"? Were you hell! If you think that Scottish football's dead without you, why were you willing to leave us for dead a couple of seasons ago? I liked the bit on the flyer saying your mate wouldn't kick you when you're down. You need us more than we need you mate! See ya, ya hypocrite!
  10. It would seem that way. The fact of the matter is that until the Ticketus deal and the tax case are resolved, nobody's got any idea how to put any figures together for a bid. Needless to say the "bids" in question are probably nothing more than theoretical notes of interest, plastered with so many ifs, buts, maybes and caveats as to make them impossible to work with until such times as the cases are resolved. Can't see that happening soon.
  11. The "deadline" was clearly a load of pish though, as they accepted two more bids after it closed.
  12. Did he give any explanation? Is there any rule that says a club has to own its ground? No. Is there any rule that says they have to own their training ground? No Is there any rule that says that clubs can't release players in administration? No. It'd be tempting to try and read a game plan into this, but it seems to me like he's just making this up as he goes along.
  13. If they were punted into any division of the SFL then it really would be curtains. Once liquidated, any phoenix club would be effectively barred from applying for a minimum of 3 years. Of course they might not get liquidated but, the idea of having to bankroll the club and the running costs of Ibrox for 1-3 seasons, on top of everything else, would be enough to put any buyers off.
