  1. Bill Ng says he can't wait to talk about potential new signings with manager Ally McCoist should the Singapore businessman's consortium's takeover bid succeed. (Daily Record)
Singapore businessman Bill Ng wants to help Rangers lift a second European trophy should he win the race to take over the 1972 Cup-Winners' Cup winners. (Various)

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha........... ......ok, just for a moment, lets presume this is true, and lets follow the trail of such statements...........

So, this Singapore Born Billionaire, with wealth off the radar, is planning to pay off RFC(IA) creditors with something like 5 to 10p in the pound, then bankroll them to the tune of hundreds of millions of pounds to win the Europa or Champions League?

This will, of course, be at least four years away that this euro winning trophy promise impossible fantasy can happen, as they will not be allowed to compete in Europe for the next three seasons.

And the knuckledragging, braincell challenged, true blue, union loving bigots, that are the Scottish Media Pretend Journalists RFC(IA) sheep follow followers, still swallow these claptrap fantasies and fairytales that is peddled out daily ?

After all that has been revealed, and is still to be revealed (and you can bet some of the murkiest deceits will not see the light of day thanks to secret handshakes, backhanders and nudgenudgewinkwinks), about how this "institution" lied, stole, cheated and ran up massive unaffordable debts to local, national and international businesses, football clubs, government agencies, queen and country, and even football governing bodies, and who for nigh on the last 20 years has operated in a way that ignores sporting integrity, proper business practice and legal obligations........still the main thrust of news that surrounds them is how they MUST be saved for the good of scottish football, the peeeeeepul, scotland as a nation, it's worldwide appeal as a football club (sic)........yet f**k their creditors, HMRC and all the clubs in Scotland and in Europe that they have deceived and done over...........they will get pennies in the pond and be thankful for it...........and in a few years they plan to be back to spending far beyond their means, racking up more even debt, spending hundreds of millions, and winning european trophies...........

For the love of god, allah, every decent human being, whomever........

Just kill this disgusting excuse of a football club, and kill it NOW.

  2. Just been watching a fans forum at Palmerston and the wee fat guy stuck in the middle of Queens new management team is sitting drinking a pint of bloody Coca Cola. Absolute madness, you would never get away with that in the Champions League where the sponsors are given front stage marketing priorities. Surely if he was a Queens fan, he should have been drinking a Scottish drink like Irn Bru and a National sponsor of our game. I've never drunk American shite in my life, even less likely giving that they plunge their monies into the Sassenach game down South.

Was wondering if other clubs think a wee bit more professionally in front of the camera?

    Get a grip.

PS note to mods - this post should have remained as a thread in it's own right, instead of swiftly moved and merged into Queens thread, after all the OP is asking for other clubs fans opinions.

  3. Anybody who still posts "FAIL" in their posts automatically renders their post moronic and immature. Given that your post was already like that before your "FAIL", you've got away with it this time.

Come to mention it, you could probably post "FAIL" all the time and get away with it

    Typical livi-type response.

Ignore the facts, and come out with BS in an attempt to deflect, and ultimately show yourself up to be the complete embarrassment and failure of a human being that you are.

Yep, its well seen you are a Livi fan. You and your cheating joke of a (dying) club are so well suited.

  4. Good, we won for the 14th time and then followed it up with a 15th win on Saturday.

I see you've almost managed half of that now. Must be really exciting

You could maybe get away with that comment to a perth farmer like GoJM, and have a miniscule amount of credibility intact, if you were in the first division and performing so well.......but fact is you are in the arse-end of the scottish leagues (3 leagues below his mob), racking up even more debt (again), failing in your 99p-in-the-pound pledge (more lies from livicheatingscum), not running away with the league (as 99% of your braindead (dwindling) support were convinced you would, and who were shouting loud to all and sundry who would listen 6 months ago) and are in real danger of fucking it all up, failing to get the automatic promotion spot, and if you fail to go up through the play-offs, you can kiss the existence of livi goodbye (at last).

So, good try EL, but ultimately, its an utter FAIL for you

(and if livi got as many points as you got fails, league would have been won by now!).

  5. I'm renowned for my fact-based incisive analysis.

You are renowned for a lot of things, but 'fact-based' 'incisive' 'analysis' - nope, none of the three, let alone the three.

Also, as an aside, you really should do something about your obsessive compulsion of sitting 24/7 on here, constantly looking for posts which reply to or quote you - 2 minutes to reply to my post, and 3 minutes to EL, shows a distinct lack of life on your part.

I'd recommend you get out more - and i'd suggest a solo walk to the north pole to get you started, the exercise would do you the world of good, don't worry about the bit of water on the way, I'm sure it's within your talents to walk on water easily.

  6. Can I compliment you all on such a fair and unbiased view of the situation.

You should all now collectively appeal to countries still mandating capital punishment, insisting that appeals against a death sentence can and should be heard after the execution has been carried out. Should speed things along just fine.

    Tip top!

    Fail.

Also, your user name is most unapt.

Not really, considering you actively censor debate on your sham of a website.

Jeez-o, VT has posted something that is factually correct for a change. Well done VT, you can take the dunce hat off for a few seconds.

  7. Dunno if this has been mentioned yet, canny be arsed trawling back through the pages to find out.

What a bummer, we're not getting a points deduction.

    Thats. Just. So. Wrong.

So now, the SFL displinary committee are saying refusing to play a game will only be a wee fine and nothing else?

    Bad precedent.

Can see this causing more problems than solutions in the future.

  8. My bad. I was hungover when i posted that

Having the supporters rep on the board is important. He's not just a random token of involvement to the fans. I think D4L hold something like 26%, although i'm lying if i said it's definitely that amount.

Having the D4L rep there means that he is in a position to veto anything that D4L feel isn't in the interests of the club. It's been huge for the club IMO.

The experience at Firhill, where the fans saved the club only ten years ago, is that even as the biggest single shareholder with a rep on the board, the fans trust is seen as irrelevant and can be shouldered aside by the remaining big shareholders as they please. This happened very recently when the shareholders voted overwhelmingly to form a property company composed of three directors and two of their mates and sell half the ground to them.

I really don't think that D4L would be in a very different position if it came to the crunch.

Unfortunately, although Thistle have a fans rep/Jags Trust member on the Board, the position doesn't carry any such powers that D4L appear to have, and is curtailed in what he can report back to the fans/trust, due to our Board putting gags on 'sensitive' subjects.

Oh for the Jags Trust to have the power of veto.

  9. I think you'll find the average crowd will be arround the 1K mark.

The latest issue (15) of the SFL League Insider gives an average attendance of 788 (page 11)

Seven home league games with a total attendance of 4662 gives an average home crowd of 666. Even if they all pay £12 that only gives a figure of £7,992. First team squad of 20 plus 17 on the coaching staff plus an under 19 team plus an under 17 team. There does appear to be a lot more going out than coming in.

It doesn't add up whichever way you look at it.

    17 coaches!!?????!!!!!!! Christ on a bike !!!

Even if you said an average 788 brought in 10k a game, thats just 5k a week. Even (and I'm being overly generous with figures here) if sponsorship brought in same again every week and other commercial income/profit brought in another 5k (i.e. revenue of 15k a week), it's still woefully short of what their outgoings would be on wages alone for their staff, let alone running costs of the ground, rent, tax, and 100 other odd outgoings).

Good to see Livi sticking to their pledge of spending within their means, and not spending more than 99p for every £1 they get.
