  1. Think he'll do well enough to make some good money on the tour, good enough to make top 16 or higher I don't know. A great player though, good to see he has the balls to go for it.

  2. I read somewhere if you qualify for a tour card you have to join the PDPA. You can cancel your PDPA membership now at any time. If Hendo and the likes don't get a card they will be able to remain BDO players as far as they are aware.

  3. The standards always going to be higher in the PDC worlds, the vast majority of the players there are full time pros, not part-time county players. Most of the BDO players are making their tv debuts with the nerves etc...associated with that. There are only two tv tournaments at the mo and it means they aren't used to playing on the grand stage as often.

Having said that, some pro's, the likes of Ross Montgomery, have had the exposure and can't seem to handle the pressure. Even Gary Anderson was one of the players with a shocking tv record till he crossed the divide so we can't be too harsh on them. At the end of the day though if your good enough you should be able to take it in your stride and do well.

The main point is if you think its utter crap, don't watch it. There have been some good games this week even if the averages are not great. Hate to sound like the bbc commentators but averages aren't everything.

  4. Well done Adrian Lewis, fully deserving of his win. He opened up the dartszone, in Rileys in Stirling, with Tony O'Shea and is actually a sound guy so I'm happy for him. And well played Gary Anderson, finally showed the world what you can do on the TV stage. There will be other finals for him this year I'm sure. A great week of darts!

  5. If Gary wins tomorrow he'll definately be in the Premier League, think he'd be the world number 2. Top 5 I reckon if he loses so cant see why they wouldn't pick him. Should be one of the great finals, cant wait.
