Hi Accies fans,
One can’t help notice how very quiet ots been of late on this thread so until a match thread comes along here’s a few teasers to tempt one or all three of you into a response
Are you looking forward to welcoming the Champions this Saturday?
Do you reckon you can stop Dylan Tait running the show?
Will you be able to stop the Bairns’ juggernaut from steamrolling you boys?
Can you keep fit players on the park?
Will Kevin O Hara be missing again?Answers on a postcard please

Steady on. Even in a poor Cove team you can see Fyvie is a very good player. If it wasn’t for injuries he’d still be playing at a higher level
All about opinions I guess…….

Referee took pity on him when it was a definite red card. Fyvie is done & his kick out is not a sign of frustration but one of a poor professional picking up his final pay day under false pretences.
Hopefully the cove sugar daddy experiment is coming to its end soon & they return to the highland league level they deserve to be with Hartley & his family & their 28 fans

He's got nothing around him. Was frustration and can be prone to it. He's got quality but the rest of the squad don't know their arse from their elbow

We've not got a meaningful game for a month. Have a day off.
That first comment smacks of a wee club mentality & not sure how you will recover if you don’t make it up this season. Think crowds of 600 will be the exception to the rule going forward but hey you can always reminisce of the good old days when you broke 4 figs

I'm not concerned by Falkirk fans in the slightest. However I've said before in this thread that Scottish football in general would be better off if more supporters actively followed their team on a regular basis, and Falkirk were the best current example of this.
You only have to look, though, at the likes of Stirling Albion to see how quickly those numbers etc can drop off when the success that drew them out in the first place dries up.
See you are not acknowledging what’s happening with your own club………isn’t that an ostrich mentality being adopted here by your good self sir?

See the usual limited traffic on this thread. Is there any correlation here with the typical footfall at NDP every time you guys are at home.

I don't mean this to be in any way disrespectful, but I see a lot of chat about your Ultras, how good they are, and the chat above about how they could fill the terracing of a new stand. As we speak, I would agree with that view.
Realistically, though, given they have really appeared very quickly out of nowhere, how long do you expect them to hang around in their current form when you aren't winning every week?
Think those in glasshouses & all that comes to mind here…….somewhat ironic that as a fan of a team who by your own admission has lost nearly half your fanbase whilst winning most weeks is concerned about the Navy Blue. Dare I say it but the imminent exposure of your own off the field issues might soon have you focusing on things closer to home.

Falkirk fans thinking they take an average of 1,000 to away games is the funniest things I've read today. I don't think you chumps manage even half of that when you visit Cappielow.
edit: you also think Cove have a bigger budget than you this season? Wtf am I reading?

The Crunchy Carrots design which was widely criticised at at the start has now become iconic. It appears to have done the sponsor a lot of good too as the exposure has helped them move to bigger premises. This success story should help us get more sponsors.
Anyone know if they are our front of shirt sponsor for next season?

That’s great commitment from you.
My grandson & I did a round trip from Falkirk to Sheffield yesterday by car to watch the Swans at Hillsborough & exhausted this morning but we are both raring to go for a shorter trip up the east coast this afternoon1 -
Any truth in rumour that Accies & Bairns in a swap deal between Martin & Agyeman?

Never watched the game but noticed Mcmanus only on the bench. Sure he returned from injury at the end of last year so surely must be fit? If he's out the picture down there would defo be a great signing for next season./
Not sure Declan 2024 version is the same as the one we had. Also we need to remember that he is struggling for game time as part of a team playing in a one horse race of a league to crowds of less than 300 fans, whose only win so many games due to being bankrolled by wealthy local businessmen which means they are the sole f/t outfit @ the standard of our Lowland league.

Well done to the 109 Accies fans who made the trip to Aberdeen

To have outperformed both Cove and Hamilton by such a huge margin despite them both outspending us is yet another mark of how well Mcglynn has used his available budget, his success rate in the transfer market and the way he has been able to either move on or get more out of the players he was lumbered with has been quite remarkable.

Your club currently are set to have one of the best seasons in their history and will go down as one of the best league 1 teams in history especially if you go unbeaten and you could officially have won the league by 5PM tomorrow how are you celebrating this? Constantly making up things that aren't true in a Hamilton accies thread?
After many years of following the Bairns you are accurate in the fact that I am truly enjoying this season. As for the accuracy of your second point, well only time will tell whose perspective is on the mark Ian.

As an "experienced" Accies fan our ambition has to be to back in the upper regions of the championship with the occasional dalliance with the premiership thrown in. Maybe even the odd cup run. However I would take less than that if it meant club security for an extended period.
Sounds to me at least one Accies fan has woken up & smelling coffee about financial challenges you are facing, which will be seriously exacerbated if you don’t get up via playoffs.
