So he was just bad against Talbot?

The ref was so one sided it was embarrassing for him, I have never saw such a performance in all my days.

I lost count of how many Talbot players got booked and none of the opposition.

93rd minute, last chance free kick into the box for J.B. If the ref had been asked to knock it into the back post for them i am sure he would have obliged.

At full-time Johnstone Burgh fans and a couple of their officials near me agreed that the ref wasted the game!

The playing surface certainly not the lush grass we see today, maybe we were to blame for bare goal mouths, when sneaking on to think you were Dennis Gray, knocking a hat trick against the cumnock, before being chased off by some old guy, maybe some posters remember his name. Remember some games, top scheme ( Barbie boys against bottom scheme, 20 a side, before getting chased off and reconvening at St Paddies, always Barbieston Road had best players then, although could be biased, remember Jim Baxter's only got a game if he had the ball, sorry Jim.

-Aye, the Coal Road team had the best park no doubt. I remember play most games (away) from home.

    Backrodgerton Crescent

    St Paddys

    Between the railway lines

Cameron Dr. At the bottom of the field

I don't recall many teams having the courage to travel to Stoner Crescent for our home games.

Probably a play park in the middle of the grass had a lot to do with it.

One of the Crescent  boys went on to play senior and he and another played for Talbot.
