Hell's Angel: The Life and Times of Sonny Barger and the Hell's Angels Motorcycle Club

Decent book on the origins of the Hells Angels, however he glosses over the drug dealing, killings and biker wars.
The fight against the RICO court case is interesting but overall you get the feeling that's it's a half told story, which is a shame. I'd be interested if anyone has read a good biography on the Hells angels, that isn't sensationalised or more than cheerleading for the club,perhaps they could recommend it to me.
I read that a couple of years ago, Ridin' High, Livin' Free is also quite good, it's a collection of true stories from bikers presented by Sonny Barger. I've just finished reading Angels Of Death - Inside The Biker's Global Crime Empire which tells of all the murders, rapes and drug dealing The Angels got up to, paints a different picture from Sonny's book which portays them as fun loving mischievious bikers!

Freak (1999)
The box says "when Blair Witch meets Psycho"... first lie, I can't think of any connection, even a tenuous one that links these two films and this crap!
The box says "running time: ~75 minutes"... second lie, it's 84 minutes long.
Well we're not off to a good start and that's just from reading the back of the DVD case!
We've got a freak that has been kept in the attic by his strange reclusive troll of a mother. He escapes by nailing her with a rock, and ends up in a hospital for nutters.
He gets transported to another hospital by a moron who manages to let a chained up retard escape from a van.
Needless to say he heads back to the old house, and kills a few people along the way. Meanwhile to pass the time, we get a boring side story of a girl and her strange looking little sister driving across four states to their new life.
Their paths collide, and they get taken out for lunch by the freak, followed by a boisterous game of Ludo.
That last wee bit may, or may not, have happened.
Oh, and the freak who has been in hospital since he was about 9 can drive a pick up truck. Of course.
Really not good at all!

She does get them put in that, it's only for a nano second but there is definate nippleage on show.

You should get the straight to video version that was released the same year that the Brendan Fraser remake was released... it's called Dedee Pfeiffer (the blonde daughter from Cybill) playing a scientist. Such unbelievably bad casting... One of those films that's just sooooo shite that you can't look away!
:lol: The directors most recent film was a straight to video comedy called "Milf". His star is brightly shining!
BTW The Lost World your boy will love if he liked The Land That Time Forgot. It's got John Rhys Davies as an obsessed professor, good fun! The sequel "Return to the Lost World" was good as well.
Or do you mean the original with Michael Rennie and Claude Rains (now I've got the credits song from Rocky Horror going through my head after mentioning them")?It's all the original versions I get, I prefer the older ones to remakes.

1975, or the 2009 remake?
Original, it was a 2 disc boxset with The People That Time Forgot which we watched today, 6/10 for that one. Also got At The Earth's Core, Journey To The Centre Of The Earth, 1 Million Years BC, 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea and The Lost World to watch!

Wasting Away (2007)
A fun zombedy, with a decent twist on the norm, seeing it from the zombies perspective... pretty clever way to do it! Betsy Beutler from Scrubs is in it, but she's not quite as annoying in this as she was the last series of Scrubs.
Good fun, decent watch, and can get the full spoof mark of 7/10.
Loved the bowling celebration in that! Another zombedy I''ve got my eye on is Pot Zombies about a bunch of potheads who smoke zombie infected weed
