  1. Almost four years old and this post aged INCREDIBLY well. Four years on and Scotland are now playing with a back three, as Steve Clarke came to the exact same realizarion as I did. And Scotland qualified for Euro 2020 as a result. You're welcome.
  2. I'll reply this once, consider it an early Christmas gift. I'm a self-important fantasist? I find it sad that you think being an author is an unobtainable pipe-dream for a Scottish person. Probably why 55% gutless people voted "No". You do realise that not all book deals are akin to JK Rowling's deals, don't you? There are literally hundreds of books published on a weekly basis, ranging from major publishing houses to tiny ones. And yes, I am extremely important. Merry Christmas. PS: No idea who "Pep" is.
  3. Awww, someone remembers me! Bet you aren't the only one. Things are going very well (better than expected actually), thanks for your interest. This visit will differ from the previous; I continuously engaged and was involved in heated dialogue in my previous visit, but this visit i'll be treating it as more as an observer with sporadic comments. So no one should expect many replies from me. Hope everyone is well and happy, by the way.
  4. I posted this seventeen months ago (and been saying it for nineteen years) and it appears that a Scotlamd manager has finally caught up to my speed. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/alex-mcleish-reveals-defensive-switch-13375990.amp A 3-5-2 IS the way forward. Football isn't a complicated game: Scotland are weak through the middle, so play eight players through the spine and make it as difficult as possible for opponents to break us down.
  5. It's nice that he's so confident. He might have a reason to be confident... either that or he's delusional.
  6. If anyone is still struggling to get Exodus to work: https://addonhq.com/install-exodus-kodi-addon/ Option two worked for me.

There's a new Sci-Fi-Comedy on the horizon, written, created and Starring Seth McFarlane. It comes out in a couple of months (10th September) and it's been commissioned for 13 episodes. No idea when it'll hit our shores, but with the internet that isn't really an issue anymore. It looks promising, kinda like a parody of Star Trek - trailer
  8. Well, the lad certainly has belief in his abilities and he thinks that he's on the cusp of breaking into the first team - http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/ryan-gauld-insists-hes-ready-10753165 Gotta give the lad credit for sticking to his guns instead of heading home. Hopefully it works out for him.
  9. Can you imagine? It would like surfing the WWW with a Spectrum*. *No disrespect to the Spectrum, which has my eternal love.
  10. Yep. The VPN companies know that the number one usage for their software is for Torrenting, so they charge for it.
  11. Fair enough. I use my VPN when I'm viewing Kodi, etc, so I suppose it's only as useful as the person who is using it, and how they are using it. No. No free VPNs are compatible with Torrent applications. Once you open up a program like Utorrent, via the free VPN, the connection doesn't allow you to actually download the thing you are trying to download.
  12. The main purpose of a VPN is to download torrents anonymously, as that's pretty much the only thing that can land a person in hot water. I don't think people get in trouble for browsing Sky Sports, etc. You can browse torrent sites with a free VPN, but you can't use a torrent application using a free VPN, therefore, you are unable to download whatever it is that you are trying to download. You have to pay for that particular privilege.
  13. I've tried a few free ones, but this is the only one that I've stuck with. Yes. they do try to get you to upgrade, but not aggressively so, it's not like they only give you an allotted number of hours to use it per day, before it cuts you off. If you need a VPN to download torrents with, then you must pay for one, as you simply can't download a torrent using a free VPN, however, if all you do is browse, etc, then I don't see why you wouldn't use a free VPN. There's also a list of free Firestick VPNs: http://www.streaming1tv.com/2016/10/top-best-free-vpns-for-your-firestick.html
  14. Talking of VPN: For the people who want a free VPN for their computer - Cyberghost VPN
  15. This might be of help to people. As they've said in this website, the real story will probably unfold in the coming weeks.
  16. OK. It's official, I was watching "Dee Gives Birth" and a part of the score that was in that episode was also the theme tune to "Siblings". The writer of "Siblings was definitely a fan of "It's always sunny in Philadephia".
  17. "Former Real Madrid youngster Jack Harper will step up to Malaga’s first team squad in 2017/18. The Scottish star has found his feet after a difficult spell with Brighton and the La Liga side will give Harper a chance to prove himself in La Liga this season. Harper has starred for Scotland’s Under-21 side in the past and this promotion could mean opportunities for the senior Scotland squad." Source
  18. I did the same thing. I first watched it in April and pretty much burned through it in a week or so. Really? Since watching this show I've began reavuating my taste is sitcoms. Seinfeld was always the pinnacle for me, and I never thought that anything would trump it... till April. In my opinion every season was top-notch, and for any show that's rare to say. The only episode that I thought fell below the standards is "Frank's Brother", I think it's in season 7. But in fairness, I've only seen it once and it's a little bit different to all the other episodes. I would say that it gets better after season 5, but I can't really differentiate between the seasons. But yes, if you've liked it so far then you not be disappointing with what follows.
  19. For the people watching it for the first time, the quality doesn't lessen. It's a monster of a show from season one onward.
  20. I'd agree with this. Yes, he had one magnificent match against Barcelona when he was a teen, but so did Tony Watt. I don't think Watt will have half the career that Marshall had. So yes, I do think David Marshall fulfilled his potential. Let's be honest, no one thought that he was going to be the next Peter Schmeichel or anything.
  21. Yeah, I'm not keeping up anything, least of all "woe is me". It's very much the contrary, as I feel that the superiority complex has become whole and morphed into a case of absolute superiority. Thanks for the tip, though, but it's not needed.
  22. Nah, people were much too preoccupied by my highly controversial comment that "Garry O'Connor, Derek Riordan, Tony Watt" haven't reached their true potential. (Which, by the way, was my reply to the message that you quoted) Which, as any fair minded individual knows is far and away more offensive and odious than racism, apartheid, sexism and any of other ism known to man and God. Quite obviously I am Satan, Hitler, Mussolini and Stalin rolled into one.</Sarcasm>
  23. "Siblings" is worth a watch. Think of a show with Dee and Dennis, but English. If you have the DVDs of "It's always sunny" you must listen to the commentaries, they're brilliant.
  24. I've never seen it. I presumed that it was still on its first season.
