I want them to deal with it; quickly, by getting rid of Hammell and Kerr. I take absolutely no pleasure in saying that. I would have loved it to work out; but it just hasn’t. We are careering towards relegation and there is still a hope, a chance, it can be avoided: But only if we act quickly. Different world financially I know: but I see the Leeds board have acted. It may or may not save them, but they’ve at least made the decision. And as plenty of folk have said already; if Hammell wasn’t a club legend he’d have been out on his arse weeks ago.

And yet the Board are doing nothing about it…. Strange as it sounds to say it, we are running out of games, fast. I reckon we need to win 6 to pretty much guarantee safety. How many games has it taken us to win 6 games? Quite why the Board aren’t dealing with the massive fucking elephant in the room, I don’t know. It’s just not going to magically improve.

I genuinely had no idea you could ‘build crisp shape cars’ with these. This could be life changing.

Fair play. Not sure Lamie or Johansen just need finessing though…..they’re fucking terrible, the pair of them. Can we not just unearth another Brian Martin? That would be nice.

To clarify, I’m not one of those that are stamping their feet or furious about the signings. I’m happy we’ve got anyone in as reinforcements are clearly desperately needed. As I’ve said though, they’re not the priority IMO. If the budget is very tight then defensive midfielder/centre half(s) should absolutely have been the priority. We’ve never got close to replacing Campbell (difficult as that might be) and have been crying out for a replacement for Lamie for what feels like years.

I get that it doesn’t all fall into place as we would all like. I also get that there won’t be many ‘proven top flight standard CBs’ just hanging around waiting for their dream move to Fir Park. However…. (1) my point was that if funds are as limited as Hammell suggests then a winger and striker should not have been the priority; and (2) Im not sure why we need ‘proven top flight standard’ much as that would be nice. Pretty much any professional footballer centre half (in the big b*****d category) would be an upgrade on the half-wits we currently have.

If that’s the case then why the f**k did he sign a striker and winger first? Of course we needed reinforcements up front, but (potentially) at the expense of defensive midfielder/centre backs?Unforgivable. I’ve said a few times, I really hope Hammell succeeds but, with each passing week of shit show defensive performances, I have increasing doubts he will.

A decent attacking midfielder would be lovely. I’d rather have two decent centre halfs and a centre forward though. Not another ‘anywhere across the front 3’ FFS. Humbug.

I don’t disagree with any of that tbh. Hammell is getting an easy ride so far because he’s a club legend. I really hope it works out for him but he needs to start making difficult decisions.

Don’t want to read too much into Burrows trying to bat away nutters on Twitter: but that suggests we have Blaney and are now looking at forwards. I mean, yes we need a forward or two, but by f**k we need Centre backs and someone with some bite in midfield. Even more than forwards in my view. Hammell and Kerr can see this too can’t they?

You have ‘experience’ in the team. Maybe a bit too much, but it will get you through this. We don’t. No leadership at all. As someone said above, feels like we’re just drifting towards relegation, and not too bothered about it either.

The defence, specifically the centre backs, is crippling us. It’s like starting games a goal down. Johansen in particular is all over the place. It’s been this away for a fair while now.

Ah. Wasn’t aware of that. I just watched it in the order it streamed for me. Last episode tonight. Watched the Pink episode last night - set 6 months after the heist - reckon I would have been annoyed to see that any earner as it gives quite a lot of finality and wouldn’t have made much sense.
