Me too - Sir Alan Forrest and it was snowing. I did go up to Ibrox about five years ago and I recall Bobby Madden not giving us a penalty when Forrest was fouled. We only lost 3-0 I think. It was quite a hostile atmosphere and penned into a corner with their lot throwing stuff from above. I remember a particularly red faced spectacled man who I thought might have a coronary. He spent the whole match working himself into a real seethe and shouting abuse at us. He wasn't even watching the game. Bizarre behaviour.

I'm feeling excited but also got a real sense of trepidation. One thing is for sure, the new boss is only going to have about a week of the January transfer window left. We will need to strengthen. If we continue with the squad as is (even if the new guy can improve our existing players) we are an injury or two away from being in a tricky situation. I still fear the second half of the season will be a slog. Admittedly, I'm maybe being a bit glass half empty.

Can someone explain what Brown achieved at Fleetwood. They look a bit of a basket case of a club from the outside. I base that entirely on the number of managers they burn through. I'm sure Joey Barton was their manager at some point. Charlie Adam is their manager now. Do they always appoint rookies?
