P*sh cover story for what was really happening behind the scenes.
Do you genuinely think anyone is going to believe you actually wanted Ian McCall?
I'm an Ayr fan, genius!

See the Ayr statement on McCall for our approach on managers who are under contract. Sounds like sour grapes to me. Don’t worry though, there’s plenty much much better managers out there...^I was thinking this as well.
You were described as impeccable when approaching Ayr for McCall. It would seem strange for Falkirk to then do the dirty on Morton.
However, the strength of the Morton statement suggests they have a case. Unless it's just bluster to keep the fans behind the club and push the blame on McKinnon and Falkirk rather than the Morton BOD.
All in all, what a bizarre day.

^Which I thought was a good thing before they punted Hartley.
Now they have two weeks with McKinnon to whip them into shape. Makes it a bit tougher, still fancy this team to win though!

We've kept Shankland & McCall and the club has kept us informed. I honestly can't remember feeling so chuffed with the club.
Let's show our appreciation tomorrow!Morton turning into the second shambles of a club this week, do we not play Morton after the international break or am I thinking of Falkirk
It's Falkirk.

When was the last time a manager of Ayr moved to another club rather than getting the boot or their contract not being renewed?

Can we stop all the knicker wetting now??Yeah, let's just focus on QoS now and keeping Shankland under house arrest until tomorrow night.

I'd have went nowhere near this season's home top if it hadn't been for the League One Champions embroidery tbh
I've not bought it yet. I normally buy it straight away but don't like this years and the away top is howling.
I might bite when the home top gets reduced after Xmas!

You stuck up for @Roxanne's man who said that so you're guilty by association I'm afraid.
Reading it back I suppose I did...

So one bad game puts him on par with a youth player? Wild.!
I didn't say that. Re-read my post.

I have no idea why you’re putting Craig Moore in the same bracket as Luke McCowan.McGowan looked the better of the two against Queens Park.
If you didnt know Moore's history you would have thought he was useless he was lucky if he touched the ball twice in that game.

Michael Moffat is a club legend. Whoever says otherwise is a fucking idiot who knows nothing about football.
^ This. I can't believe someone suggested Roberts ahead of Moffat. I almost fell off my seat!

Murphy was good at the dark arts as well. He knew when to tug a jersey or give a push when the officials weren't looking. Geggan was doing that with Hippolyte today and getting a reaction.
I still love when Murphy got Joe Cardle sent off and you could see him chuckling as he walked away from Cardle. Class.
Speaking of Murphy, I see Annan have started pretty well 10 points from 4 games.

We were always going to be troubled down our left today irrespective of who played there given Harvie was out.
I love Geggan as much of the next person but Smith should start at RB for me.

I would agree that Forrest shouldn't be dropped.
Only changes I would make is Smith to RB, Geggan bench, Harvie at LB and potentially McDaid starts instead of Crawford on the left wing. However, its great to have so many good options.

Forrest was immense today and he's so much stronger this season. Credit to him for bulking up in the summer.

When will other clubs and fans realise that we don't need the money. We're building something here.
The positivity around the club is the highest I can remember, attendances are starting to get back towards the Barr era, we have a young team playing exciting football. Why risk all this for a quick buck?
