  1. Aye pretty much. Done his cruciate down at Cappielow in November 2010 and we never seen him play for the Pars again. He had been immense that year but was much maligned prior to that. McIntyre seemed to see him as a right midfielder which wasnt his position whatsoever. Moved him inside and he was superb.
  2. Why was Geggan playing wide right? Not his position in a million years.
  3. Harvie was absolutely dreadful. One of the worst individual performances I've seen in a long time. Good value for our win tonight, only 2nd away win of the season and couldn't have came at a better time.
  4. Fais the only player to score 30 goals in a season in my lifetime so he got a vote from me. Great result tonight, fully deserved and could have been more comfortable if I'm honest. Ayr chucking balls into the box and us standing off for the last 10 made it look a lot closer than it was. Nisbet, Turner (x2) and Ryan all had very good chances outeith the goal. Thought Devine and Beadling were excellent and everything we did going forward was going through Ryan Dow (except the goal[emoji23]). Announce Rangers 7 figure bid for Nisbet.
  5. The standard seems worse than what it was when we first came back up in 2016.
  6. Almost view tomorrow's game as a bit of a free hit considering our away form and Ayr's league position. That being said, we've a shit hot.recent record at Somerset so you never know.
  7. Obviously not familiar with Dunfermline Athletic season 2012-2013.
  8. Aye the McDonald loan has been a complete joke. Wished they'd sacked it off weeks ago.
  9. Mad how we are so reliant on a player signed in the summer from Peterhead.
  10. A lot of new manager chat in here when theres no noises coming from the club that SC's job is under threat.
  11. Fair point about Harper, guys just impressed me whenever I've heard him speak since getting the Albion job.
  12. The last 2 games I've seen were the wins against Arbroath and QOTS right enough but I felt in those games we played with a lot of energy in spells and the game management was excellent.
  13. Anybody hear how long Scully is meant to be out for? I'm still willing to back SC and the staff. I'm far from a happy clapper but I can definitely see what he has been trying to do with the team this season as opposed to AJ's clusterfuck of 18/19.
  14. GK - David Hutton - Poppadom hands, we were as good as a goal down every time he played for us, especially in this league. Chris Smith can count himself lucky not to have made the cut but not every game he played for us was a nightmare. However, when he was bad, he was really bad. Michael Hrivnak deserves a place in the conversation here also. CB - Alex Keddie - Yes the big man won a 1st division title here but that does not tell the full story. Absolutely hopeless and the team looked much more solid with any combo of Dowie, Higgins and Rutkiwicz at the back. An absolute shambolic season in the SPL in 11/12 and subsequently binned. Sure he's a nice guy so I hope he doesn't read this. CB - John Potter - Great guy that Potts is and however well liked he is off the field, his 2nd spell with us was an absolute disaster. Back to back relegations (administration or not) which he did absolutely nothing to aid in terms of on the park performances. As I said though, great guy. CB - Danny Devine - Guy is hopeless, heavens knows how he has a Scottish cup winners medal. Watched our reserves played Burntisland Shipyard in a friendly in the Summer and he shelled a ball into some poor b*****d's garden and conservatory. Sounds about right. RM - David Hopkirk - 'Hoppy' had his moments in fairness to him but was clearly too concerned about his physique to be arsed making a decent career as a footballer. Took his departure from the club very poorly as well which sours the view as well. Bit of a tit. CM - Ross Forbes - This guy cleary has/had bags of talent but could not be arsed one bit. Fans of other teams, namely Morton, will say how wrong I am but this guy was an absolute wage thief. Did not try a leg and his signing essentially spelt the end of Stephen Husband's career at Dunfermline. Unforgivable. CM - Craig Easton - Right so he may have only played for us 3 times but I remember him doing the square root of f**k all in each game. Probably a bigger sleight on McIntyre's transfer strategy that season than the player himself. Past it. CM - Paul Burns - That's right, the cult hero, tannadice winner Skindiana Bones makes the cut. As many songs that were sang about this chap, he was just far too lightweight to make any sort of impact whatsoever. Another McIntyre dud. LM - Andy Stirling - An odd one, as I rated him prior to us signing him and have seen him play very well for us since. Guy was absolutely gutless when he was with us though. Didn't even last the full season with us and was farmed out to the Binos on loan. Looked the part, bags of ability (for that level - League 1), clearly couldn't handle playing for a club as big as ours. Mouse. CF - Robbie Muirhead - Another one probably with a bit of talent. I certainly didn't see any of it. This guy clearly does not care and has already made his coin. Coasting with every move and fully expect to see him sign with whatever 'big' team is in League 1 next season. Killie, Utd, Hearts, MK Dons, Dunfermline & Morton. Wow. Fair fucks to him. CF - Mickael Antoine-Curier - Was an admirer of his for years. We clearly got him 5 years too late but the guy is quite clearly a total banger. Lasted 4 months and scored 2 goals in a team which had Joe Cardle, peak Michael Paton and Michael Moffat as the supply line. Waster and a complete rocket.
  15. Boy a ken stuck a tenner along with his old man on 7-1. He cashed out for a tidy enough profit at 5-0 but nowhere near what he would have got had it ran. Him and his dad sat in different parts of the North West and his dad cane running up to him at full time absolutely buzzing [emoji24][emoji23]. 'Sorry dad'
  16. The fitba bar is the best pub known to man.
  17. Hahah absolutely dead right. Make no apologies for the fact that I, like a few other pars fans, were in the brechin end that day. Fiver to get in and see a pretty decent game of football by that standard, 5 goals including extra time and then seeing them relegated through a glorious penalty shootout. File it under things you love fo see.
