Wow easy cowboy [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] You can make educated guesses regarding budgets. I don't need to look at a balance sheet with numbers on to know that we've spent more than Ayr have this season, or that we'd spent more than Livingston last season.
Seeing plenty saying it makes for grim reading but does any of it really come as a surprise? We've thrown a shitload at it over the past few seasons including paying transfer fees for players. 1 play off spot out of the 3 seasons we've been here probably isn't decent return or value for money. Time for something new. Glass half full kinda guy I am, let's get on with it.
This league isn't rocket science and doesn't need a big budget to get out of. A change in the way we recruit players will be massive and I'm glad to hear we're looking at it that way. Que signing a bunch of duds from down south ala Falkirk last summer[emoji23]
That's my point about it. The statement when he was 'brought on board' was so wooly and ambiguous it can really be interpreted any way you want. I said it at the time and I'm saying it again, his role needs to be clearly defined.
We havent had an actual right back for about 4 years now so hed be more than welcome to come and give it a go.
He's a right back who can't defend if that suits.
Durnan was unlucky with injuries and is easily a championship level centre half. Wouldn't surprise me if he signs for another team in the division and does well. Probably good for all parties that he's moving on.
