  1. Think it's more to do with how utterly irrelevant Morton are that none of their players come into anybody's thinking.
  2. Alan Johnston: We'd lost some key players and was heavily backed in the summer transfer window to replace said key players. Signed a lot of shite and was sacked in January. 2/10 Stevie Crawford: Carried on the season with the aforementioned shite players adding Ryan Scully, Bruce Anderson & Ryan Blair. Got papped out the cup in a Fife derby in spectacular fashion, largely down to the captain stupidly getting himself sent off. Put together 5 wins on the spin which ultimately kept us up, however the football has not improved(many say it's got worse, don't personally buy that). 1 point from the last 8 games makes for grim reading. 3/10.
  3. Not sure but take him. Shadow of a player. Too many injuries I think You'll have a more qualified opinion of him right enough but he's always impressed. Also thought this. He was decent in the game at East End last month.
  4. The Devine shouts are harsh IMO. We had one of the tightest defences in the league. Couldn't score worth a f**k though.
  5. First time since the new format that we've been in the south section, some laugh.
  6. What was Stevie Anderson like on the whole when he was with you?
  7. Might be missing something but it seems a pretty decent deal to me.
  8. Todd, McCann, Smith, Gill and Morrison I'd all expect to be in and around the first team next season .
  9. Wow easy cowboy [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] You can make educated guesses regarding budgets. I don't need to look at a balance sheet with numbers on to know that we've spent more than Ayr have this season, or that we'd spent more than Livingston last season.
  10. Seeing plenty saying it makes for grim reading but does any of it really come as a surprise? We've thrown a shitload at it over the past few seasons including paying transfer fees for players. 1 play off spot out of the 3 seasons we've been here probably isn't decent return or value for money. Time for something new. Glass half full kinda guy I am, let's get on with it.
  11. This league isn't rocket science and doesn't need a big budget to get out of. A change in the way we recruit players will be massive and I'm glad to hear we're looking at it that way. Que signing a bunch of duds from down south ala Falkirk last summer[emoji23]
  12. We were on the verge of signing McDaid last year so maybe that's why there's more legs in that one.
  13. Seems another in the mould of Connolly or Longridge.
  14. If Montrose win the play offs then all 3 will be in the league on merit so yes, I'd absolutely want to see them in the championship next season.
  15. No relegation next season? Aye, sign me up.
  16. That's my point about it. The statement when he was 'brought on board' was so wooly and ambiguous it can really be interpreted any way you want. I said it at the time and I'm saying it again, his role needs to be clearly defined.
  17. You're making little to zero sense I'd just stop if I were you.
  18. I think Enigma raises a good point. Until Macnamara's role is properly defined to us, it is left open to insinuation.
  19. We havent had an actual right back for about 4 years now so hed be more than welcome to come and give it a go. He's a right back who can't defend if that suits.
  20. For those looking for Devine and Hippolyte to move on, that will be a task in itself.
