Good post mate pretty much agree with all you say. First half Annan pressed hard and gave us no time on the ball and were strong when they were in possession without a clear threat in the final third. We weathered the storm & created a class opener with a cool finish. Second half I think given the conditions Annan couldn't maintain the energy & pressing game which allowed spaces to open which we exploited well with the goal from Smith who was excellent & the pen. As has been said already Renton outstanding today involved in all goals with an exceptional work rate a very under rated yet in my opinion valuable part of the squad. Speaking to Jordan & Harvey hopefully sooner rather than later and hope herd not as bad as it looked.

Not a problem @stovies we have all had similar failings posting on the hoof I'm not aware of Brechin Exec involvement & commitments etc you will be far closer. What I can say to stabilise & run our own club means the directors have to be very hands on, hence on match day there mat be minimal representation in the board room. Good luck with your plans and I genuinely wish you and your fellow fans the very best.

I had to read this a few times as it didn't make sense, I assume the word you intended to use was overthrow. That being the case I can understand your intent, but in line with fellow posters from your club would suggest caution in the absence of a realistic practical alternative. PS. Not a dig as a fan of a club who have endured similar misfortunes over a number of seasons I can readily empathise with the City fans

I can assure you Renton knows what to do with ball to feet it's where he made his name and got his initial break in football. There is no-one more fed up getting aimless high balls with no-one to know on to that him. We adopted the same approach against Stenny last week but in stead Renton we tried it with Allan and were equally inept. He is a player who is extremely self critical and as @big al says needs a bit of backing & encouragement. One of the few players to leave in recent seasons to a team in league above and win a further promotion.

Those were my thoughts panic not sure about trusting midfield or not for me lack of movement/options and at times quality, as others of mentioned better when we play a 5 seem to create more .

Al what I am saying again at the risk of repetition he is someone held in high regard throughout the club. He has assisted the club in a number of ways beyond his contributions on the pitch. The comment you make which I have highlighted in here is not something I recognise. In general terms as a former player I am sure you would agree you train to get fit to play rather than play to get fit to play.

Mullen suspended first two league games so trying back 4 with JP at RB ahead of league campaign.

Jordyn has a fantastic attitude and is very popular across peers, management, board as well as fans and has done a lot behind the scenes to support the club. In essence he is a top guy whom personally I like a lot.
