  1. Aye, think he was. I'm not going to pretend to know what that wage was ala Salty but I imagine he wouldn't have been cheap and he played most of our games last season.
  2. Aye, that's a bizarre question. Rusty, Hardie and Weatherson replaced by Barr, Moon and Smith. First two would've been two of our higher earners and Weatherson will be on more than Smith will be offered I'd imagine. So a fair amount of money will be saved if we get our men. Morton have been cutting back season after season for a few years now.
  3. Dammit. It's been getting cracking write ups and I was really looking forward to seeing it. Would agree with most of that bar Blair Witch. Still the only film I've found seriously unsettling since I watched Freddie as a wean.
  4. I don't think Predator's aged badly at all!
  5. It's a classic! Shame on you! I have to agree with McGarry, mate.
  6. Salty's correct, the original Hitcher pisses all over the 2007 version. Whoever cast Rutger Hauer as John whatsisname got it spot on. He's perfect for the role.
  7. The Ruins. One of the most bizarre and ridiculous plots ever but if you're a fan of blood and gore it does what it says on the tin. A bunch of friends vacationing in Mexico are invited along to some old Mayan Ruins with a German guy they meet at their hotel. His friends are on an archaeological dig and they soon discover "something's living in The Ruins" when they go to meet up with them. You can guess the rest. 5/10.
  8. Jesus Christ. The first one was one of my favourite films but the sequels barely merit a mention. 7/10?
  9. That thing was a close second after Mr Krueger in mentally scarring me as a wean.
  10. He's got muscles like knots in a midge's penis. I'm sure your good man's better built.
  11. I'd agree that in general Carrey's shite but Dumb and Dumber 1/10? Ur at the wind up, mate. One of the funniest film's I've ever seen.
  12. All very encouraging. I'm planning on going to see it next weekend.
  13. Hyped may have been a poor choice of word. Anytime I read a review it was getting raved about, it just didn't live up to my expectations.
  14. No spoilers please, mate! I thought This Is England was absolute shite. Over-hyped, over-rated keech.
  15. Scratch that. Doesn't appear to be on any of the movie sites.
  16. He's not a fan of any classics unless they're some obscure, third rate horror flick that nobody's heard of. PS I've never seen Wicker Man but going to watch it on my (now extended somewhat) tea break as it must be very good.
  17. Salty - you've the worst taste in films bar nobody. You've no right to slag anyone. I'm suprised you only gave it a 6. I've not laughed as much in ages.
  18. It takes a lot to get me to laugh out loud in the cinema, to the point I've tears streaming down my face. Knocked Up and Superbad have both now had that effect on me. 9/10.
  19. Aye, definitely the same guys. They did 40 Year Old Virgin as well. Superbad's next on my must-see list. Sunday looks good.
  20. I cringed watching that. As you say, awful liar.
