  1. Scottish cup 2008/9 , I was there but unfortunately can’t get a ticket for Friday. Thanks, SPFL.
  2. Enzo, Excuse the direct approach but desperate for tickets for Friday. Have been a QP supporter all my life, now 63. Live in Devon now but flying up for the match but been unable to get a ticket. As a man on the ball, due you know when the tickets remaining will go on sale ?

    Many thanks,

    Stephen Moodie

N.B. Since moving down I try and make 2 or 3 matches a season , already been to the last Ayr match.

  3. I booked a flight from Bristol months ago in the hope this game might mean something, it sure does! Used to live South Side Glasgow now Devon.
  4. Didn't make game today. Due to medical condition I have to take blood thinners (cant be the only one!) so today would have been too cold for me, when I have to SIT in a cold stand. Have been disappionted to read that we have such a small standing section planned.
  5. What a strike from Salim to win it. Game amazing similar to last week but with the added pressure of league points at stake. Again Mark got tactics spot on but became a bit too deep at times. Getting the rub of the green at the moment but again we showed such desire to win the game. Well done to everyone.
  6. Well that's a bit worrying, a lack of trust of our support or was it really introduced for the benefit of clyde/cowdenbeath fans ?
  7. Out of interest , were you able to stand at the Killie away LC game last season/season before?
  8. Seconded , brilliant atmosphere created by those standing and singing, just ask the players what a help that was on the day. Committee must find a way of allowing standing at our new home a couple of rows at the back wont work IMO
  9. Cant believe it either, according to a Killie friend of mine its our cup final!
  10. What a great day, in one of my favourite away days and even better memories after yesterday! (First visit was a postponed game in the early 80's , we were allready there when it was called off but the supporters bus didnt come back to pick us up till 5pm lol ) We really reserve our best performances for cup games, circumstances are such that i havent made too many other games apart from them-lucky me. What a gutsy performance from the whole team and congrats to the coaching staff as well . Shame their was no shout for our manager yesterday (tactical master class) i think the way we set up and stiffled them really worked a treat , particularly second half. (However, the singers in our crowd fair supported the team to victory , well done guys) A brilliant team effort but have to mention Salim's contribution, what a header'er of a ball. In years to come hopefully we can pay more visits to your lovely town.
  11. Hi guys, went to the Lang v Gartcain match, live locally and get to a match when I can. Game finished 3-6 !!! Attendance 137 (incl. guys in box thing upstairs?) Cambuslang started off slowly and wee bit lucky only to be one down but picked up and went 3-1 up! were the better team first half but lost 2 goals before half time 3-3 HT I'm afraid only only one team in second half and lucky it was only 6. It's not the first time I've seen a collapse like this and obviously the heads went down all too easily. The lang have some pretty talented forward players but lose the ball up front/midfield too easily which puts the players at the back under too much pressure. A new formation maybe needed, need to strengthen the back badly. What about 5 at the back with two holding midfielders. I know this means a less exciting game but Lang will go down unless something radical is done. Lastly, well done to Gartcairn. Showed tremendous dertmination after half time and ran out easy winners.
  12. Wasn't their yesterday but sounds like we tried to match cowden's style of play but it didn't work because after all they play that way all the time!
  13. I actually think you helped get the positive vote over the line, so well done.
  14. .....and while I'm on well done to our reserves last night beating league leaders Livingston, quite a few first squad players playing, going by the pics. Good idea from Mark to give these guys a run out.
  15. First post for some time, some of you will remember I used to post reports on Strollers/Reserves/U20's . Although, been a supporter for over half a century have not been a member at any stage (despite being season ticket holder for many years) so unfortunately not got a vote this week. For a time I would rather watch the 2nd eleven and worried that going pro might lead to it being sacrificed but with these worries now satisfied we have to go pro, to protect the young guys coming through and keep them longer. Like others I worry that some members are so entrenched in sticking to their own personal feelings and are not going to vote with the good of the club at heart. I appeal to these guys to put their own feelings to one side and vote for the good of the club and preserve our future. We will always have our history but we have to move forward or amateur leagues here we come.
  16. Ok think I've got the right chap now! Confidentiality laws prevent me going into too much detail but needless to say your newspaper/magazine consumption was fairly boring
  17. There cant be more than 1 County fan in Bargeddie Also cant be many QP fans that are Market Researcher's
  18. Belated Congrats on your promotion - wouldnt have thought it from your form at the start of the season Incidently, does Yoda still think ex Queen's,Stuart Kettlewell is crap?
  19. Joe M, you must be the same guy who posted on the Elgin FC Messageboard and defended the Bigots on there as well ? Your views are very misguided and obviously so far removed from reality that can only come from someone living far away from the bigot fest would have - in fact similar to the view of one Berwick fan I've seen. However, glad that your views are not representative of the vast majority of SFL fans.
  20. Just seen this. I would suggest this guy is in the minority-however clyde are in a bit of a state. Have lost to us 7 times in a row! If there was a no to Rangers Newco in SFL survey I think you would find a high % against their admittance to 3rd div. We dont want the Bigots visiting our stadiums any more than you do. However, if there was a space in the league at the end of this season I cant see them not being voted in.
