  1. So, and excuse my stupidity here, does that mean 10 clubs have to vote in favour of allowing Rangers back into the SPL ?
  2. Somebody pull the plug on them, enough is enough, it's going to have a dramatic effect on Scottish football one way or another, for the good or for the bad BUT a club that has so blatantly cheated for decades deserves no place within the game, old co, new co or otherwise.
  3. It's all being delayed time after time in an attempt to let the anger of the supporters of other clubs to subside whilst, behind the scenes, compromises are being dreamt up, rules and the very infrastructure of the game are set to change to accommodate the newco Rangers as high up the league structure as they think they can get away with without causing the member clubs supporters revolting and refusing to buy season tickets. Time, however, is not on their side. Rangers newco SHOULD be relegated to the lowest division in the football league, expelled from ALL cups and suffer points deductions each season to ensure they can't gain promotion for at least a period of time equal to the number of years the OldCo cheated via the use of EBTs. That's what should happen. Broadcasting rights with SKY shouldn't enter the equation at all, they've either cheated or they haven't, SKY would renegotiate a deal without Old Firm games and clubs will need to adjust their budgets accordingly. What nobody has mentioned is the other SPL clubs would actually receive a larger slice of the money, the club chairmen could vote themselves a larger share with no Celtic /Rangers pact there to stop it happening. Far too much is being made of the SKY money, far too much is definitely being made of the financial benefit of Rangers being in the SPL, their away support isn't fantastic and their replacement in the league would actually bring supporters to games, all the figures I'be seen banded about haven't taken that into consideration either. The Press, the media, Rangers representatives past and present, Rangers fans, SPL, SFA have all been unbelievable all the way through this nonsense, the country is being shown up to be a corrupt nation, certainly more so in footballing terms. We should just disband all the regulatory bodies, shut down every club and forget football in this country, we are a disgrace.
  4. The next step is Watty to be appointed to the board along with his money men with an option to buy the club for a pre-determined figure at some point down the road. Green, Smith et al all held up as the great saviours of the club, Rangers no matter what punishment they get of whatever league they play in will have ra peepul falling over themselves to buy season tickets, softening the blow of relegation should that happen. Orchestrated bull-shit, hopefully the SFA can see through this charade, disrepute just got taken to the MAX. Just chuck them out, I'm fed up with it all now and I hear the 29th June is the next date for your diaries, that being the vote on newco being allowed back into the SPL. Is there any channce that the appealate meeting will re-convene before that ?
  5. The SFA and SPL are the one's who, owing to them having no back bone, have allowed this situation to descend into the farce we see before our eyes. Rangers should be, at the very least, suspended from any football whatsoever for a minimum of 12 months and relegated to the 3rd Division. Bringing the game into disrepute ?, both OldCo and NewCo are making a mockery of the game in this country, suspend them until they get their house in order. Yesterday was a total disgrace, carefully orchestrated but the delivery was badly executed, Walter Smith riding in to save the day, that was hilarious, I'm surprised he didn't appear riding a white horse, wearing nice shiny armour, draped in a union flag and playing a flute. Pathetic, surely everyone can see the only way to calm this all down is to suspend them (or expulsion it's all good) then you will see who is interested in the club and maybe get the message through to the fans, the media and all the warring factions that enough is enough, this pantomime cannot be allowed to continue.
  6. That's the administration if the oldco which will continue as long as it needs to, nothing to do with newco.
  7. Think Whytes bad, wait till the info on Green comes out ! He'd put Arfur Daly to shame, so much so he took the coat of Arfurs back in the photo above ^^^
  8. Not as evil, manipulating, fraudulent and cheating as the club you support with their vile bigoted fans who think they are ra peepul when, as a matter of fact, they're a bunch of low brow individuals with no morals, manners or sense of decency.
  9. I think Chris Smith should come on leaps and bounds at Falkirk. He's good at defending but his ball skills are woeful, he can't pass a ball at all, with a bit of work he should be a good signing for Falkirk. Watch for the odd howler though and your keeper would be advised to stay clear of him at corners, he just goes through players to get the ball and had Kevin Cuthbert upside down a few times.
  10. Just had a cursory glance through the reports and interviews in the media. I find it absolutely gobsmacking the attitude of Green and Rangers fans, it beggars belief. Today is no different to any other as far as this lot are concerned, threats are the order of the day, Scottish football will be fucked without us (even though we're boycotting every club if we are kept in the SPL), the taxman canny dae that tae us we arra peepul, SKY won't be interested in the SPL blah blah blah It's all shite, they've cheated for as long as I can remember and to allow this club entrance immediately to the SPL is morally wrong, they have to start at the bottom and work their way up. I would also suggest a five year suspended expulsion verdict to ensure they play the game properly when working their way back up the leagues, one further misdemeanour and it's instant termination of their right to play in this country. Rangers simply cannot be allowed to continue as if nothing has happened, matter what guise they take. The arrogance of the club and their supporters, who think they are bigger than Scottish football and can do whatever takes their fancy, beggars belief and they must be punished in an appropriate manner. It has to be a minimum of relegation to the third division, suspended expulsion and further point and revenue deductions for 5 years. This club must never again have a stranglehold on the game in this country. VOTE NO TO NEWCO, it's the only way to save our game in the long term.
  11. I think the statement from HMRC regarding further investigation into the financial wrong doings of the club is telling. It surely gives us the indication of how the EBT appeal has gone i.e. not in Rangers favour. That will at the end of the day make the SPL decision on the matter a formality. The SFA have obviously got their decision to give regarding the disrepute charge as well. If the SPL Chairmen vote in a Newco everyone should just abandon football in this country, it would make a total farce of the rules. The HMRC rejected the CVA because of the cheating nature of the club, I hope the SPL have the balls to do the same. Bye, Bye Rangers, you vile institution.
  12. The next step is NO to Newco, over to you SPL Chairmen. SFA, you can now hit them with a life-time expulsion, it's okay, they're fucked anyway. Same for the EBT investigation, hit them hard, it matters not.
  13. The only two players in town are HMRC and Ticketus though, it doesn't matter how the others vote, it only takes one of them to vote no. The very fact we're talking about reprisals should indicate that this monstrosity of a club should be shut down, if not by the liquidation route then most certainly by the sanctions/expulsion route.
  14. They don't divulge anything whatsoever before the creditors meeting although usually the administrators would have a fair idea through their experience of dealing with HMRC whether or not their proposals would be likely to be accepted. In the case of Duff & Phelps who knows ?, to the outside world their representatives in the Rangers administration are a couple of bumbling bufoons, maybe they're very clever at what they do and will get the CVA through...nah, I preferred the bufoons description. There's loads more twists to come anyway....
  15. It's as obvious as the nose on my face that both the SFA and SPL are hoping somebody will do their dirty work for them, delay after delay has been the order of the day. I've already been told that the SPL are sitting on some damning evidence on the dual contracts issue, other club chairmen ARE aware of it and it is this that is causing the change of heart in certain quarters and basically the clubs are being prepared for Rangers not being in the SPL next season. Whether that makes sense or is advantageous to anyone I don't know, however, time will tell.
  16. On the subject of punishments available to the SFA, I'm led to believe that the expulsion from the Scottish Cup option would only apply to any offence committed with particular association with that competition and therefore would be an unlikely option in the case of Rangers. The choices therefore are either suspension or expulsion. In regards to the CVA, whilst it could be accepted I find it unlikely, who'd hand on heart believe the best deal could be achieved for creditors via an agreement heavily stacked in favour of Charles Greens consortium. Onto the man himself, he says he won't be there after a year, why ?, where's he going and who is going to be there ? and more importantly, what's he leaving behind ? Dave King and Paul Murray, if what they're saying is true and along with Andrew Ellis and his testimony, they have the capability of putting a HUGE spanner in the works but they'll need to act now if they intend to. It's all building up to have a few more twists with the double contracts investigation and appealate decisions to come. Nothing has been decided as yet, it's going to be an interesting few days though.
  17. Absolutely astounding from Green, incredible and totally unbelievable. This man must think people here live in caves, hunt Haggis and have no TV, Internet or Telephones. Season ticket money required quickly then Charlie ?
  18. Tiffoney is a right midfielder but utilized as a right back by Brian Reid so who knows ?, McGowan is also a right winger.
  19. Has Chris Smith officially signed for Falkirk yet, I know he's turned down his contract at Ayr and was rumoured to be heading to TFS. Michael McGowan and Johnathan Tiffoney were also rumoured to be heading in the same direction but Tiffoney would cost Falkirk money and I can't see them paying it.
  20. You're not wrong, folk look at you funnily if you talk about it in England, the papers would maybe have a paragraph about it hidden beside adverts for the "save ££££s adverts", whilst the main feature would be Joe Hart was greetin at Aushwitz or what Roy Hodgson had for breakfast. It's quite funny considering the Orcs devote themselves to loving England so much, Glasgow who ?
  21. I'm sure there's plenty of things in and around Ibrox that could be dismantled, stripped and sold. There's also all those offices, what about the rental portfolio, what about renting the ground out, there's also a gym I believe etc. They've undervalued it totally, I'd give them £1 million for it, bet I could make that back from it in a couple of days.
  22. But the creditors are being asked to vote on an unknown outcome, how can they vote to accept a "mebees aye and mebees naw" proposal, especially when there is only one party really winning out of the CVA being accepted i.e. Sevco, they'd really need their heads examined. As far as politicians getting involved goes, they've already tried that approach and unfortunately for them, I think you'll find there are no politicians willing to step up to the plate, in fact they've all taken a step back, gazing to the sky and whistling, not one of them are willing to be associated with a club who have not only clearly cheated for decades but are guilty of tax evasion, tax avoidance, ruining the game in this country and bringing the game into disrepute. Dream on Chasbo ! We can expect more ramblings from the wierder than a bottle of chips Charles Green as the noose tightens.
  23. They've used a figure which would basically be the value of the land basically imo. If any property, commercial or not, is a forced sale valuation, there's no way with the open market valuation being £100 million that the figure of £5 million would be in any way accurate, it's a HUGE undervaluation by D&P and I'm truly surprised no one has made more of this issue. It is little wonder HMRC are moving to have D&P removed from the process, they've really been quite naughty throughout the administration.
  24. You can see just how ridiculous Greens CVA really is, at the end of the day, taken down to it's bare components and taking into consideration all the external factors, his proposals would see creditors get nothing whilst he inherits everything. If I was a creditor I'd be putting his CVA in the bin and taking my chances with an HMRC backed liquidation, at least you'd know from the outset that you were guaranteed a better return and that's the fact of the matter.
