Feel for Nesbitt but you could see for weeks that he was going to end up being dropped.

Totally unrelated to the DGW crisis and a much lighter topic, but the club coming up for 150 years is absolutely wild. I’ll never not be amazed by the rich history of so many clubs in the Scottish game, especially the small teams like Falkirk who will be more up against it. Just constant institutions throughout generations that continue to persist. Scottish football man.
Here’s hoping we can make it till then

Thought Krasniqi looked really solid in the first game against Airdrie, he really bolstered us when he came on against 10 men. Guy might be rubbish for all we know but I’m disappointed he didn’t get much of a chance. What a waste for all parties involved.

Honestly I have no idea what Holt’s role has or has not been, but it was 100% clear that the fans would never accept him and there was enormous negativity surrounding his signing history in the summer and general arrogance/attitude. This is great news for moving the club forward.

What do we think about Paul Watson in January? The question is would he come and why did he leave the pars? Wouldn’t be surprised if he got another gig in the championship to be honest. A good player for us and I’d love to see him back but I think higher up clubs than us will be after him.

That defending there from us

I'd like to have seen us follow Germany and place strict restrictions on those that are not vaccinated. You can't get into shops, cinemas, restaurants or leisure facilities if you are not vaccinated. Vaccination is to be mandatory by February there. They've limited football crowds to 15000.
Agree - you'd be restricting all Rangers fans/Rangers sympathisers and it would be great entertainment.

Nathan Austin was not and quite possibly still is not anywhere near good enough to play at the top end of the championship.

Aye, i'm sure there will be no shortage of Daily Record hot takes from morons like Boyd telling us how Miller will be amazing for us etc
Yes waiting for the BOYD BACKS EX-GERS STAR AT STRUGGLING FALKIRK

Good appointment re. Miller and makes sense how he would compliment Rennie. Disappointed that we will now have to endure the “aM a GeRs mAn bUt wIlL lOoK oUt fOr KeNnY aT fAlKiRk” patter on social media

Don't understand the wanting to punt Dixon at all tbh - he is the absolute least of our problems. We're worse without him.

In a lot of ways we continued from where we left off last week. The second half was absolutely grim. Cove miles ahead of us. They look good and I would imagine will end up winning the league easily.

So our response to a six-nil hammering is to bring in Brad McKay, Gary Miller and Sheerin's shite wee mate Dross whilst leaving the likes of Krasniqi and Lemon on the bench. Astonishing. Just get this over with.
To be fair Lemon was absolutely horrendous last week and should be nowhere near the starting 11 today. Agree with the general point though.

Listening to his interviews on podcast he is clearly very intelligent and quite academic in his ways. Completely different in approach and manner to what we have had before. He would clearly interview well so it’s obvious why he has impressed. Talk is cheap though, but he deserves a go of it.

Is this a Rawlins driven appointment?

Total wildcard and an interesting one. Who was the last manager we had with virtually 0 experience in the Scottish game in any capacity, let alone league 1? It’s different that’s for sure.

Think having seen all the names and thought about it, McIntyre is the one I’d go for. None of the candidates are very exciting but we’ve only ourselves to blame for that. He’s experienced, And I reckon at the very least would stabilise the team till the end of the season and would surely be an improvement on Sheerin. The thought of him managing us and yogi managing the pars is a bit wild.
I don’t have any great feelings against Rice but the thought of him is a bit meh (although it’s who I expect we will end up appointing). Having said that, we don’t need a superstar. We need someone who is better than Sheerin and can get more out of the players that we have.

Who was it who brought in Leahy and Vaulks? Houston? I know he was berated towards the end of his spell but maybe he could come in on a Ragnick type deal till end of season with a view to moving upstairs?
Pressley brought in both

What does that have to do a with a novel infectious strain?

What I would give for us to be average right now.

That felt like a training match. Couldn’t tell if we were trying to go for a winner or settle for a draw. Was surprised McGlynn didn’t go for it more - the 10 men was almost completely meaningless and they could have easily buried us earlier if they’d wanted to. Sad to say but the best spectacle of the day was the scenes for their second.

To be honest I thought he looked a bit gutted to be there (could be wrong mind), and I can completely understand that. I wouldn’t be surprised if he still ends up Arbroath.
